    What a bittersweet, paradoxical ending to the explanation.
    We rise above an old challenge and receive a greater one.. then what?
    How is being closer to the light better for us if we will only suffer more and more?
    I understand the concepts of faith and loyalty and this reminds me of Job and Abraham, but I can't help but feel sad at the same time thinking about this.

    I really enjoy this interviewer and Michael Laitman’s answers. They are simple, concise and logical. We must realize we’re all connected and correct our egoistic desires.

    It surprises me how close is this to Sikhism. Like it when the truth is realised and varified by various sources.
    I wish kabalist were bit more open to idea that force/source that give wisdom to kabalists can do it to others as well. If rest of the world speak same ideas it don't have to be coming from Abraham going to east. There are many who realized same truth with grace as well.

      HI. VJ. I think they do. Every major religion has this Golden Rule teaching. I'm just glad everyone teaches this. Doesn't really matter which religion it is. Religions are man made, not God made. God knows and judges all the same by actions, not words. 🙏🏽

      Agree, I just wish more religious people talk about golden rule or I like calling the perennial phylosophy. I think big issue is that everyone is trying to sell it with their own branding. I don't have any issue with branding but it pushes many people away. It is a universal ideology and that is how it should be presented.

      V J,
      Kabbalists aren't open or closed towards other ways. We simply present for everybody what we have and say: Here is a system that works, you are welcome to join. If you know of or practice another system that also works, then that is great!
      In other words, Kabbalists don't say there is no other way that works, we just say that we know Kabbalah is a perfect system and it works. That's all. If we come across differently, I'm sorry because we certainly don't mean to. When Rav Laitman talks about Abraham the way that he does, it is because this particular program is about the way of Kabbalah and how reality looks from someone who walks in Kabbalistic shoes, so to speak. It is for this same reason that you will never find Kabbalists writing on a Sikh RUclips channel that Sikh teachings are wrong and Kabbalah knows the only truth.

    This interview does not make it clear that Karma can come from past lives. As a clinical child psychologist, I have always felt a compulsion to help other people. I consulted a psychic and without knowing anything about me, he said I have a compulsive need to help others because during Roman times I was a rich person who could have helped a great many and did nothing at all to help anyone. I said, "really, I was an SOB in Roman times?" He said, Yeah, you were a real SOB.

    A Good deed is something that goes with Gods plan a bad deed goes against God. So how do we know? We don’t so we just need to leave it in his hands what we think is good could be bad against God. So if you give money to a homeless guy you did good but if he takes that money and spends it on drugs you unintentionally enabled him to help hurt himself so your deed could have turned into a bad deed. Get it?

    Is 'Karma' real ?
    Scientific research ( of birth marks ) conducted by Dr Bruce Greyson, Division of Perceptual Studies, University of Virginia School of Medical Studies indicates that 'Karma' is real. Just as the Law of Gravitation operates independently in the material realm so does the Law of Karma operate in the spiritual realm. According to the 'Law of Karma' also known as the 'Law of Cause and Effect', our present experience is an outcome of our actions carried out in our near or distant past. In other words, actions good or bad that one has authored in one's previous life will bear fruit in one's present life ( you reap what you sow ). The law of karma is actually meant to spur spiritual growth by subtly reminding us that every person bears full responsibility for his or her actions and that sooner or later past actions will have to be accounted for . A person who properly understands the implications of the ‘Law of Karma’ will do more good than harm. The reason that the presenter of this video had to undergo the harrowing experience of being diagnosed with bone cancer is in all probability the result of negative or harmful karmic actions ( e.g., causing severe pain to others ) committed in previous lives. That she is now making attempts to understand the law of Karma suggests that, in due course of time, as she gains a clear understating of the law of karma, she will do more good than harm in this life time and benefit from such positive actions in her next life thus ensuring spiritual growth that will progressively lead her to fulfil the purpose of her life, that is , achieve self-realization.

    Karma? Do unto others as you want others to do to you. Why? Because that is your "Karma".

    • @wanketta
      @wanketta 5 лет назад

      John Browne No, that is a dharma statement. Dharma is your duty (Do unto others), required to maintain cosmic order. Karma is what you get from the action of doing your duty. Karma is the result of your action.

      Western world have taken the karma word to seriously. Karma is simply the action, good, bad ugly whatever. An action may or may not have others included. However, we live is dualism and every action has a reaction,this is just the nature of universe we live in.
      But karma is simply an action.

    • @johnbrowne8744
      @johnbrowne8744 5 лет назад

      @@wanketta Hi. We have different definitions but similar understanding. I'm Non-dualist. When we say Do unto others as you want to be done to, it's because they are you fundamentally. How you treat others IS how you treat yourself. There is only One God. It is you and everyone else, and you and everyone else are It.
      From God perspective All is It. God doesn't see a you and me. God only sees Itself as you and me. Humans see separation. God does not see separation. All is it. You are It. I am It. We are really one. So, how you treat others is literally how you're treating your self. That's the wisdom and grace and justice of Karma. Understand? 😊

    • @johnbrowne8744
      @johnbrowne8744 5 лет назад

      @Toby Henderson And that belief is now your Karma. You chose it. Now you will experience your judgement of others. "Do unto others what you want done to you". This is the wisdom and grace and justice of Karma, and the Nameless One.😊

    The buddhist explanation is not the right one. In buddhism intention to do an action must be present for the action to be completed. All functioning phenomena have causes.
