    Thanks for keeping the RUclips tradition alive, of a great idea combined with horrible music that nobody wants to hear as they try to learn/duplicate a project.

    Instead of the plumbing tape and putty- you can use hot glue or you can use some aquarium sealant. It's pretty cheap and you'll get much more reliable results.

      adding another pump does not make the vortex bigger. the key to the size of the vortex is the size of the center drain hole.

    The bowl and tube used - give me the illusion that the Tube is larger than the Bowl underneath

    First, great fountain. Second, it's already been noted. I've never understood why someone makes a video like this with the happy, (and annoying) music with no verbal explanation of what materials you're using, how you're doing something, etc. In other words what could have been a very informative video falls flat. The fact that you speed up the process of making it in sections does no one any good either. You seem very technologically adept, so instead of the annoying music hook up a mic and give a much more needed narrative. At least you did make a list of the materials used. Thanks. Awesome project.

      Hello Heidee ! I've used a Eheim Compact 1000 ( 1000 l /h) universal aquarium pump, but any pump will fit good - just pay attention how big is your jar / container and the pomp debit.

    It would be nice to have what you are doing actually on the camera, if you can’t speak and explain then add type message to the side or above since you didn’t stay on screen the majority of the time you taped this. Great project but don’t know what you were doing and where you got the stuff to do it with.

    • @liefschneider3123

      Your fountain is amazing but your communication is terrible. The description does not have everything you need. Pot you've linked to in the description shows a 5" diameter at the top, and smallest vase diameter you've linked to is 5". You can clearly see that you did not use a pot of the same size vase in the video. It would be appreciated if you just gave dimensions of the containers! As well link to the pump doesn't work, so it would be WAY better to give spec's and dimension over links alone

    • @ProjectDiY
      @ProjectDiY  6 лет назад

      Hello. The link that I provided in the description it refers to more sizes, take a look at the drop-down list from the seller and you will find there the size you need. I also upgraded the description with the sizes. Sorry for the poor explanation!
