Such a good video, just got one of these which is arriving on the 1st of Feb, i actually cant wait. I’m not going to be able to sleep for the next two weeks.
Solid vid. I have the Ultra2 as well. I'm addicted. One comment I have, even though you're clearly experienced.. I learned the hard way not to take one hand off the handlebar to make adjustments, in my case it was an itch. I wasn't going fast and there was a small bump and I got thrown hard to the ground, broken ribs. I still rode the whole time while healing but it was a lesson learned, now I just pull off to the side. After all it's so fun to accelerate! I was on my Nanrobot D6+, but same thing applies. I want to install a steering damper like the Dualtron X's have. Anyway, thanks for the content!
You are right! Keep both hands on the scooter at all times if possible. The seat on my scooter allows more force to be placed on the deck from my legs making it easier to ride no hands. I'm glad you enjoyed the video thanks for the comment
thanks for a great vid you got me sold on this for my second scooter i was going to get a vsett10+ plus but this vid just sold me great vid safe bro i dont think the vsett is built as tough as this your scooter is a tank the vsett like a corvett can be busted easy i think have a blessed day brother thanks for helping me make my mind up wow what a vid !!
Glad this video persuaded more towards getting a Dualtron! These are built tough alright, they are built using 6082 instead of 6061 aluminum which offers a tensile advantage of over 15%. The Ultra 2 is only 3 KG heavier compared to the vsett10+ and is built like a tank has a bigger wheel and also goes 20KPH faster but the Ultra is just under 2x the price tho but worth it as it will last longer IMO. Thanks for the comment brother !
Thanks for the videos mates would love to hear a review on this bad boy from an aussie user . Been watching a few reviews and i think ill be buying my first scooter.. the dualtron ultra 2 is the one im currently leaning towards.
@@aussiebattler9393 are those the semi offroad looking tires that came with it? surely not? im looking to get a ultra 2 haha! check out my youtube videos, i have a vsett10+ anda mototec thor, i ride them pretty hard lol. im def looking to get an ultra 2 though. have u had any problems at all with it? and how many miles do u have on it brother?
@@TheRealElectricOutdoors Will do my bro! Nah they the tires that come with Thunders, I don't mind the off road tires on ULTRAs tho. I am currently just shy of 6k miles 16mths into owning it no major issues but a few hiccups along the way.
@@TheRealElectricOutdoors I am using a off road tire on the back at the moment and road tire on the front. Works well together front tire has grip and rear tire helps absorb more of the bumps
Dualtron Ultra 2 has the electric controller placed over the rear wheel which acts as a fender. The issue with fitting the seat is the bracket which bolts to rear of deck ( allows quick release of seat post via clamp) contacts the exposed controller wires running from under the deck to the controller which will cause cutting of the wires. I fixed the issue buy using heat skrink and hardplasitc tubing to shield the wires, also need to file down the bracket to take sharp edge off.
The seat is overall a solid component offers suspension and stability when in good body position. Most of crashes are from incorrect body placement and weight distribution which the seat helps
@@aussiebattler9393 Rotary for life 😤...I have an ultra 2 with a steering damper, dual stem clamp, and street tires. Thinking about getting a seat for longer rides but I don't like how it looks when standing on scooter. Thanks for the input
Wow, the control and stability is admirable. Great footpath etiquette!
Safety is a priority of mine.. if you could believe that after watching this video! Haha. Cheers mate glad you enjoyed it

performance wise, this is better than the storm, i also prefer its tires.
How do you like the seat attachment? Is it able to be removed quicky if you want to ride without it?

Ultra 2 or Ultra V2?
Ultra V2 - 72volt
@@aussiebattler9393 Didn’t know the V2 is 72v also. I have the Ultra 2 72v.
@@fresh762 Yes I think it must be Ultra 2 not v2 then, cheers
