This was my beautiful Mother's song. I am much older now. When I look up gospel songs to play this always comes up. I KNOW Mama is waiting to see me again. Mama was beautiful. Can't wait to see her smile again.
I've loved this song since I was a teenager. Now I'm 66 years of age, and the message of this song grows sweeter every time I hear it. So many folks that I loved here on earth are now there waiting. I just can't wait to see them and my Jesus! Even so, COME!
How beautiful. I love hearing this. It always reminds me that I’ll see my 40 year old daughter again one day because we were both saved . I sure miss her here though
I love this old song, my dear sweet wife passed away back on January 19th 2021 from complications from a stroke she had on June 7th 2020, I can't wait to see her again
Why can't all churches sing these songs. I am 72 years old. I grew up in the Church of God when the choir sung these songs. Unfortunately not anymore. God bless this church.
Can someone out there please help me understand my own feelings, please? Songs like this one bless me sooooo much. But the newer songs do absolutely nothing for me. In fact, many of the new songs seem to be worldly songs laced with just a hint of God's message/promise. And a lot of churches have adopted these "contemporary" songs into their services and abandoned the old hymns. I am saddened by this and just trying to wrap my head (and heart) around it. Thanks.
These older songs were inspired by the Holy Spirit. Older folks knew when they were saved by the Spirit dwelling within. There’s not much “feeling” anymore in church. If you recall, John leaped in his mother’s womb at the presence of Jesus.
Right Kevin. These songs were written by the spirit.. Not this watered down junk they call songs.. Today.. Your mind don't wander when you hear this... It moves something in ya.. Lol thank you for these heart felt songs.. Out of the ole red book..
Bipartisan singing at its best, inclusive of high and low voices. I just watched about 30 versions of this song on RUclips and I think this is the best one, and I am comparing it to some really famous singers.
Only book better than than Redbook is the word of God!!! Glory!! What a promise!!! What a savior!!!! These new squirts Ain't got a clue how to write a song that shows God in all his goodness! Them dudes need to get saved and write real gospel songs!!! Ok, I'm joking about that get saved part, but they do need to learn to write real gospel songs!! Good job May God bless!!

So sad Churches are removing these songs from the people. "Man changes, but God changes not."
I miss these songs - the youngsters want the new stuff.
They just won’t know where to meet when we get to heaven, I guess?
listening to these dear saints singing and worshipping the LORD would make a Lutheran want to shout
This is how it is done....with a mature choir and a rocking piano player.
AMEN!
Hallelujah!
Oh how this blesses me!! Oh Glory to Savior !!!
I wish this church was near me.

Yes, it is very sad! I'm listening just as an extension of what I already get at church, but I know it's not like that in many places!

Yes, I can. The Holy Spirit has nothing to do with what's in the Church today. He's not even welcomed in His own House anymore...in too many cases.
See you there!
Fabulous! This is how it's done! With anointing of Holy Spirit and a great pianist!
I sure love hymns and this one is more special because of the way this has been presented! To God be the glory
Wonderful job Tracy Phillips as always. I see Bobby Bradley also. Charles Towler did a great job directing.
a lot of churches have sold out to this contemporary type music, its not for me, this is the real stuff
Yes yes YES!!! This choir is anointed Amen! 🙌🏽🙌🏽💃
The blonde (in the black) at the end of the piano is gorgeous. Cheers to beautiful women.
