I love watching people cold water dip and realising how good it feels. I've been sea dipping all year round for the last 3 yrs and its my favourite thing ever . The winter months are the best, where it takes your breath away and you can't speak as its so cold! Love it! Keep it up!

Love the Vlogust vids and seeing Ottis growing day to day as well as your weekly vids! Tips from a pool company worker to get in your pool quicker!! Put the chemicals in at night because the sun burns off the chemicals quicker than they can do their job, it’s like us working in the hot sun versus working in the shade, we just work better under less stressors and so do the chemicals. It’s called shock and chlorine. Also walk around the pool when you put the chemicals in and it will circulate even better and work harder on the algae spots that need it since you are putting it in the direct spot. Enjoy your end of summer swimming, hopefully this saves you money and time on your pool!!

It’s just so purigying from all the negative energy 🫶🏼 in Finland 70 degrees sauna temperature is cold haha. You have to try wood burning sauna and dip into lake after. It’s just next level

Alfie...so good that you mentioned how hard it is for the parents who go to work all day while their children are in school and then immediately pick them up right after work. As a teacher I could feel their exhaustion at pick up time watching them switch from work mode to parent role.

I’m a florist and we had a grasshopper making weird noises at work the other day & we couldn’t find it. My boss couldn’t hear it unless I recorded the noise and played it back.. made me feel like I was going nuts but finally found it 😅

For bugs, you may already have it but we have these sticky traps. They are clear and are a bit linger then a hand. They adhere to the window. We get a lot of flies and it catches flies really well. It’s nice because if you put them at the top or bottom of the window they are relatively invisible. However, downside is that it kills the bugs, but when you have a real problem it can be required.

can you talk about the logistics of being a British homeowner? Do you pay property tax, home owner’s fees, the daily upkeep? Is your home historic and bc of that you can’t do certain projects?

Us uk people just pay our mortgage and council tax, obviously utilities inc. Water we don't have the homeowner things you have
