That’s awesome! Been wanting to do this exact same thing to my older 18volt
Mines been working great so far. Thanks for watching
Well done bud
Been looking for the exact video but for Makita
Would these anvils be compatible with craftsman drivers? I have a craftsman 3/8 and 1/2 drivers I want to swap for detent pin anvils
DCF 887 FIRE IN THE HOUSE
This things are powerful
Hi, I’d put a 1/2 anvil in that, very interesting video ty, Bob,
Great idea wish I would have thought about it. But I think for it's size the smaller 3/8" might be better for my use. But if I come across another one I will for sure. Thanks for watching
Do you think it would also be possible to do this with a Makita impact driver and turn it to a 3/8 impact wrench
That I have no idea. But if you think about the manufacturing side of it. For instance Chevy makes tons of cars. So the same engine you can get in a Silverado truck has the came mirror as a suburban....thus if your motor in the suburban goes or you can or the motor from a truck in it. So I would think Makita Milwaukee ridged and every other brand would be the same. Again I don't know for sure but I guess you can always return the item if it doesn't work
@@2LateIWon thank i want to try and put the 3/8 anvil on my makita impact driver since i have so many
Good job
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment I use this all the time!!
Nice hack
Can’t see the link

I'm wondering if I could do the same, but "converting" a 1/2 makita impact drive in a 3/8.
Niceeeeeee
This is the same one I win from you guys!!!! #tiacrew
@@2LateIWon howd you win it?

Does the same anvil work for dcf887 ?
2 complete different Milwaukee impact, that’s just the old impact , not the Frankenstein impact. That’s what you want .
aliexpress got an 1/2 anvil for $4, do us another video and make sure to bust a few lug nuts.
I just got my order today, I bought both the dual purpose and singular 1/2 for around $7 shipped. And I was able to successfully swapped out my new brushless Bauer 1/4 impact, it's a direct 1:1. If you try it on the brushed version you'll need to do extra drilling to get it to fit, the center slot is 1/2 so you'll need to drill it down to 3/8 is gonna be a little messy. I'd recommend getting a brushless and do your own swap. Their brushless motor is more powerful than than their actual brushed 1/2 impact for half the price. Crazy man, I paid 50 for it and it's the best thing since sliced bread. I've been looking for light weight dual purpose driver for ages without breaking the bank. Finally got my wish. And yes I did took off some lugs torqued down to 100. They all came off fine on #3 setting.
Does it work on the dcf809?
Do you happen to have the part # ?
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure there's an actual link in the discription
Thank you for the video. Just sayin', it took you over three minutes to get to what the title says it's about. We know what a T-10 driver is.
Well when I make my videos I try to make it for everyone. Some people don't know what a T-10 is. Some people have no ideahow to do this stuff. I figured it's better to have to much info than to little. You can always fast forward vs leaving it out and assuming EVERYONE what I'm talking about butt thanks for watching
Will this work on the 887 tho?
Yes. I've done this on my 887
You sure you did the right? Not once did the impact kick in.
Impact doesnt usually kick in until its under load
@@Edgar-and-Wrench problem is it was under a load.
@@norge696 i went back to reqatch it. I can see what you mean. I THINK i hear the anvil activate but its super faint. It definitely doesnt sound like a normal impact
I absolutely hate the index finger pointing video thing.
Well here's the cool thing....you don't have to watch.
@@2LateIWon which is the choice I made with my freedom. But you don't get a choice about being triggered by my comment.
@@crazypeoplearoundtheworld304 lol you think that's triggered....lol. I'd just delete it and block you if I was triggered. Your the one triggered by me.....pointing. You don't like me pointing and it was so bad of a trigger for you. You thought it was necessary to make a comment about it....i think your title says all I need to say at this point
