  • Hi! Welcome to my channel! If you are new around here - my name is Nicole and I like to use a customized craft knife when creating with polymer clay!
    Today's tutorial will take you step by step through the process of making a simple cane - that we will then use to customize a craft knife!
    I'm a strong believer that the more bright and colourful your tools are - the more fun they are to use!
    I hope you enjoy this tutorial!
    All supplies for creating this project can be purchased through our store - The Little Craft House

    You seem to get nervous when stuff gets a little bumpy, but don't rush yourself. Take your time. We're here to learn lol.

    Great idea. I'll be making an attempt at this.
    Also, you can remove the top of these knives and put them back together. Should make it a bit easier I think
    Good job 👍🏾

    I just did a similar cane. It was also my first successful one. I did have some issues when placing them on the piece of black clay. Couldn’t get them to line up perfectly, but it didn’t turn out too bad for a first attempt. I went ahead and did my craft knife. Then I use some of the leftover and swirled it together and made some needle tools out of sewing needles.

    The cane turned out beautiful. It looked like stained glass but in a way a beginner can follow and have success. Thank you for sharing.

    That's so pretty ❤️ how thick the slab needs to be to be wrapped around the knife?

      @TheLittleCraftHouse  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I probably rolled it down to about 2mm thick - but you could always do it thinner or thicker depending on what would be most comfortable for you to hold :)
