FYI: All the dancers are part of different dance crews currently competing in a show called Street Woman Fighter (SWF). You can see the different crews based on the different outfits they're wearing ;)

the mission was to create a choreo for jessi's song "cold-blooded" and ygx(the first crew shown of the vid&the center of the chorus) won the mission. :')
although ygx won the mission, jessi decided to let all the crew join her music video...dang this just screams "women power"

She gave such a huge space for the dancers to shine while having the confidence that appearing only at the end of the MV would be more than enough.

When Jessi is spelling her name and she says “crooked letter crooked letter” it’s representing the letter s. People usually say crooked letter to help them spell Mississippi.
I was just typing this out using Mississippi as an example but then I saw you already did.

@@ijustwannabehappier-v4973 Since the word Mississippi has a lot of the letter “s”, it is helpful to use the term crooked letter to help people remember where the “s” goes. I hope that helped.
fun fact: Jessi didn't want to appear in the MV at all since Street Woman Fighter (SWF) is all about letting dancers who are usually overshadowed by the artists have the spotlight on them for once.

SWF stands for street woman fighter! It’s basically a show which showcases the talent of backup dancers and dance groups so like for example how yg has their backup dancers named ygx they appear as a team for a competition and so do other groups, competing for the title of best crew for street woman fighter.
The host is kang daniel and there are 3 judges who judge their skills and choose winners when doing battles and the judges actually include taeyoung from NCT😊 and BOA!!!
The crews competing for this were WANT, YGX, Lachica, Wayb, cocaNButter, PROWDOWN, HOOK, and Holyband (all crews that have choreographed for soloists like chungha and jessi and groups like itzy or been backup dancers for blackpink, kai, and many many many more..)
For this specific song they were told that they had to choreograph jessi’s new song and the crew that jessi and psy chose would win. Here, ygx won seeing as the chorus of the song was their choreography and that’s that😊

Crooked Letter is referring to the S's in JESSI. It's something that came from Mississippi. So it's an American thing. It was to help southern children spell the state's name. The song went:

The word Humpback, refers to the P's.
If anyone every watched the old TV show Good Times, there's a couple references in there as well.
Literally how I learned to spell Mississippi when I was in elementary school in Tennessee lol I’ll never forget that song and the one they used to teach us how to spell Tennessee.

SWF or Street Woman Fighter is very popular in korea rn like literally the talk of the town. If you see someone dancing to Hey Mama, that’s from mnet survival show SWF. And for Jessi to let almost all the screen time for the SWF queens is really amazing for her to do.

So SWF stands for Street Women Fighter and it’s a dance crew survival show, where they compete to be the best crew. Their challenge was to create a choreo for this song and whoever won would have their choreo as the main choreo for this song (I may be wrong, they may just have won the challenge), but each crew that you saw showed parts of the choreo that they made.
The crews you saw in order were:
1. YGX
2. HOOK
3. LACHICA
4. HolyBang
5. PROWDMON
6. CocaNButter
There were also two other crews that were in the show as well which were WAYB (a person that’s famous on that crew is Noze (that girl that went viral during Kai’s solo debut)) and WANT (Iz*one’s Chaeyeon participated in that crew), though both crews have unfortunately been eliminated. The show doesn’t end until the 30th if I’m not mistaken. You should go ahead and watch the show before it ends!!!❤️🔥
SWF is really famous in S.Korea right now. These female dance crews are crazy good and are the leading choreographers in the KPOP industry right now! The dancers are from "Street Woman Fighter" it's HUGE in korea and even J-hope is watching it. It's a survival show and these groups are the best female dancers in Korea. They choreograph for kpop groups, solo artists etc. So Jessi went on the show for one of their missions and their mission was to create a choreography to this song. And whoever's choreo Jessi chooses, that choreo gets to be the official choreo to this song. So the group YGX (first group shown) won for this. Their choreo was used.

- first team is "YGX" yeah they from YG. The leader of this team is Leejung (center In 7:21) who choreograph many blackpink song and Ryujin shoulder move in wannabe - itzy (also icy, fancy and feel spacial - twice)
- second team is "HOOK" the one in center and also leader is aiki. she compete in world of dance ss3 represent Korea and she choreograph for don't touch me - refund sister (jessi hwasa hyori junghwa)
- for third team in video its "LACHICA" CHICA is from CHICA the name of chungha song. yes they are choreographer of chungha. All of chungha song choreograph by them (except bicycle. it made by leejung) the one who wear black swimsuit is leader. Her name is gabee
- 4th team is "HOLYBANG" lead by honey j. The family of Jaypark and AOMG. The biggest hit form them is twerk part in MOMMAE - Jay park (That was on Fireeeeeee) and honey j choreograph down - Jessi too
- 5th team is the biggest team "PROWNMON" in this team has the most powerful and legend woman dancer in korea like Monika (dance professor in many Korea university. so many people in this program is her student) and Lip J (waaking legend she's so gooddddddddd)
