I've been having these thoughts a lot when it comes to concerts in today's day and age. I grew going seeing carti perform during the self-titled & die LiT eras. After WLR, his shows became events where he didn't really perform but adlib his owns tracks and allow the crowd to sing back to him. He would come out to bounce around to his show with his crew and that would be the show. We have now moved into an era where artists like Kanye, who have achieved the highest levels of fame, can make fans pay hundreds of dollars for essentially a listen-along with some performance art. Great to see Ye/Carti on stage again, however, imo, robbin they fans.
