Reporting a bully at least in California does absolutely nothing because the schools are too afraid of being sued by the parents of the bully and the police are impotent. There's nothing shameful about doing what is necessary to keep yourself and those around you safe and free of abuse. Some people are just predators and you have no obligation to submit to their will.
