A little late on this review. I know you mentioned Dolby Vision but, to your recollection, does the tv get adequately bright with Dolby Vision and HDR? The TV that I am considering replacing with this one did such a bad job with HDR that it actually looked BETTER with HDR off.
No Dolby atmos ? What if paired with shield 19 pro (Dolby atmos ) qbd a soundbar Dolby atmos technically Should allow Dolby atmos when rubbing on shield instead of smart tv setup correct ?
Your not gunna watch it on the side anyway. I think for the price it seems really good value for money especially with Dolby vision thrown in bonus 👍🏻 What about the 65” has it got better specs on it ? Processor etc ?
Some rooms have seats on the sides of tvs. My living room has seating just like that. A couch in front, then love-seat on the left and a chair on the right. This is why the viewing angles are so important. Not everyone has a tv 5 feet directly in font of all the seats in a room.
@@AtHomewithLucas yeah is its 55' inches, feels pretty scammy but its by out biggest company, shame we wanted to buy it but its not worth it if its this expensive..
I got the 65" A6 for less than $300 at Walmart. I hate the 60hrtz display but I can deal with it. I do watch it straight on in my apartment. Movies look odd but for the price, it's fine. Especially paired up to the HS2100 Soundbar w/ Sub. PS5 looks great on it. I'll upgrade to the U7 or U8H soon
@@AtHomewithLucas it seems that HiSense hid the panel type on your batch as after the A6... there should be a letter, but there is none. according to your analysis of bad performance from angels you must have the VA panel. With 55A6K model, for example, looking from the sides supposed to be brilliant. VA are known to look poor from angels
@dieselthegrey no, but people will stand and look at a screen at that angle (party's or what not), so it' valid. Or if you have seats across a living room, you will view it at many, many different angles. If I put a tv on my wall, I want it to look good no matter where I'm at.
@@AtHomewithLucas I get what your saying. That begs the question what tv let's you look at it almost from the side and see a good picture quality? Genuine question. I'm interested in seeing that. Maybe I dont know what I'm missing.
@dieselthegrey any good 4K panel should look good at that angle. My 5+ year old Samsung 75" 4K tv looks amazing at that angle. I also bought a 55" Fire Omni that looks pretty good at that angle (video is on my channel) I show the viewing angles on that video too.
Yeah that's because Google killed Android TV now it's all Google Tv. I'm sure they just updated mine when I plugged it in (I got multiple updates before I could use it)
what mount did you use ?
I used the Fleximounts Curved Flat TV Wall Mount a.co/d/a4PWGuu

Great question, our loft is quite bright, and it did perform well with brightness in HDR.

@athomewithlucas
Hi would you recommend the 55 inch A6 or the A7 for streaming live sports?
The A7 is better but only slightly. It has small tech improvements over the A6. So the A7 is better.

As for the bigger tv having better specs? No this tv line up has the same specs no matter if it's 50" or 75" as far as I know.
Missing the Audio Response review.. Could cut some time off the “viewing angle” session and spend on the audio part..
Oh yeah good idea. What exactly did you want to see about the audio?
@@AtHomewithLucas Thanks for taking the query. I mean for a large room, the audio is good or less
Yeah the speakers are very good for large rooms. 💯😁
Thanks so much 😎🙏🏼
@@AtHomewithLucasno atmos ??
Is it equipped with the google play store?
Yes, it has the Play Store.
Is a7k better in picture quality?
A7K is the not sold in the US. I believe it's the international version of this tv. It should be the same.
Thanks for the review I am aware of the viewing angles.
Seems like most people don't care. Might be me showing my age lol
@@AtHomewithLucasmost people buying budget tv don’t have big enough rooms to have look At the tv from several angles lol in my case anyway
I didn't think about a small bedroom or small space. Maybe I should say this is best for small spaces lol 😁
How is this cheaper? in Fiji its selling for $1999 (or around USD$1000 )
Wow that's insane. That's for a 55"
I agree 💯, in Nigeria it cost ₦540,000 naira
@saparaoluwatobiloba8632 that's $650 in US dollars. Definitely way more expensive. Are you sure it's not the 65" model?

I bought the 6series, it sucks no bluetooth for headphones :(
Hey thanks for sharing
Is the A7 better for gaming
Yes 100% it has a much better "gaming mode" with a great refresh rate and low latency. So it should game much better.
Is there a difference between A6H series and A6N?
Looks like the A6H has the latest Google Tv software upgrade. The A6N has Android tv.
@@AtHomewithLucas i just bought Hisense A6N and it have VIDAA software
@m6ngel112 Are you in the US? Because I think that's the global software.

Hey thanks for sharing your experience with this tv.
shouldn't IPS panels perform well from viewing angels ?
I think IPS monitors look great, but large panels like tvs don't look good. VA panels are better.

@niroren7351 hey thanks for the info 😀
Great info 👍
Thank you 😁
Hello got the exact same tv do you know how to fix this it keeps auto dimming and I can’t find a way to turn it off
Did you turn off all the "eco settings"
Those will control the brightness to save battery.
@@AtHomewithLucas i don’t have that setting is it in picture mode? I’ve tried a lot of ways never seen that one
@sixayy4833 I'm not sure sorry. I returned mine so I don't have it to look at.
@sixayy4833 did you try putting it on gaming mode (in picture settings)?
any way to enlarge the text size in the UI, not captions but in how the Settings panel displays, etc? Hisense told me no way.
Did you look at the Accessibility setting in settings?
@@AtHomewithLucas yes, nothing about text size
@robhenerey anything about magnification?
@@AtHomewithLucas no. I'm ditching the Hisense
@robhenerey awesome they make junk tvs anyways. Get the Fire Omni tv. I have it and love it.
3:49 - if im sitting at this angle, I need to sit somewhere else.
I'm not sure what you're saying.
Why would anyone watch TV at that angle?

@erikanimations21 good to hear. That's what I thought some would not be bothered by the viewing angles.
Got tired of your constant 'viewing angles' rant.
Thanks for your feedback
The viewing angles you portrayed are extreme to say the least. If you expect a perfect picture at 90 degrees to the set you've got a problem.
@ScottLang-nt8pj My Samsung tv (5 years only) has good viewing angles at 90 degrees. That's my standard.

I believe the A6K is the non US version of the A6...are you outside the US?
complaining about small things... What do you expect for the price.
I always go into products with optimism and just want to say great things. But this tv is just not good when it comes to viewing angles.
@AtHomewithLucas but there is more good reviews than bad on this tv?
@RyanParker2948 I'm just saying my experience.
