It took some time and effort, but it was definitely worth it. I don't paint digitally that often, come to think of it. I need to do it more 😤
And there are several mistakes in this video. I would fix them but it's too late for me now lol
Also, Blue and Cricket are just adorable and they have to be canon! As I read the books, sure, I found them cheesy at first, but then reading both books from Blue and Cricket's PoVs just warmed me up to how fleshed out their dynamic ACTUALLY was (unlike most WoF ships). And then, this happens in "The Hive Mind."
Cricket: Bye guys, I have to go.
Blue: nose bops her
Me: 💥😨 Don't cry, don't cry...
I can remember reading that part in public, so of course I had to take a breath and make sure I wouldn't burst out into...whatever this passage elicitted within me. I don't usually cry at books or movies, but I did have a couple of tears sprig up in my eyes. That's proof enough for me to see that they've built tension that's worth resolving! It not like reading "The Poison Jungle" next assuaged any of that though....

Hlghstwtgj the amount of work that went into making this I'm STILL upset about how you need more subscribers.. which is pretty big seeing as I've got the attention span of a 3 year old.
