Actually the Easter egg is the dad. He is the construction worker who loves to dance in the MV "Tough"
Glad you guys liked the MV. I think this one is particular special to Mayday themselves as well because the MV also portrayed part of their lives as well. For example, I think Masa used to dress up in stuff animal to hand out flyers and Monster's father did not approve when they signed the contract with the music studio (the same studio in MV) at first because his father is actually a lawyer and wanted the same for Monster; nevertheless, Monster (leader of the band) did graduate from the Law Faculty when he was in University, but he couldn't give up his passions for music, so they ended up signing the contract. Monster's mother supported the band as much as she can. For example, she would make night time snacks for them after their night time practice, which Ashin actually wrote it as part of lyrics in their "Dokodemo Door". Unfortunately, due to a medical issue, Monster's mother fell into a coma around 2004, and passed away in 2016. Throughout the years, they have always made songs dedicated to Monster's mother like, "9 Ball", "Washing Machine", "Dokodemo Door" and etc.
That's so sad about his mother 😞. She was in a coma for a long time... wow 💔. Thank you so much for this information. It helps give so much more insight into this video and the lyrics ❤. Our own mother passed away in 2005 from a sudden blood clot so I can imagine how deeply sad Monster and the rest of his members were. ~ Sabrina (K Darlings)

Monster composed the song "Washing machine", which as you know now, is dedicated to mothers who give of themselves selflessly. In the video, towards the end, you can see the scenes of a solemn Monster paying tribute (bowing, presenting garland of flowers - a tradition in Chinese funerals) before saluting and gazing/raising his head - as the washing machine/mother is lifted into the sky/heavens...
Basically, Monster wrote the song as a tribute to his mom who had passed on.

A little story in the MV is that the young kid in the MV symbolizes Mayday, when Mayday was just a small band.
In the period of time, they faced some difficulties but they still continue to write new songs and then send the "music tape" to each record company.
Finally, a music master in Taiwan, called Jonathan Lee, heard Mayday's song and then decided to sign with Mayday, and Mayday really thank for Jonathan Lee
BTW, one interesting thing is that Jonathan Lee did find mayday's music tape from a waste paper basket
, because staffs receives hundreds of music samples every day, they throw the tape away with other samples.
Luckily, Mayday wrote "Please, listen before you throw" on the packing, so Jonathan Lee saw it and picked up the pack
(people want to be famous, sometimes, still need a little bit luck, isn't it!?^^)

Ashin had won the 28th Golden Melody Awards Best Lyricist (Song :Almost Famous).
The Golden Melody Awards are presented annually by the Government Information Office of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and is Taiwan's equivalent to the Grammy Awards.
Also they're playing on the street in Xiemen, which is where Mayday started playing in the beginning. Cool place, kind of has an Akihabara flavour to it. You two would like it.
