Now this is definitely a martial art that would be practical on the mean streets for self defense!

My Lord, the speed of that knife!!! I was going to ask if you speeded up the video 10x normal speed, but guess not. Trying to track that knife left my eyes in a spin. Very inpressed. How one could defend from that tornado of an onslaught beguiles me...

You can say that again, brother. Filipino blade work is in a class by itself. Your execution is flawless. Thanks for these videos.

Fundamentals give the practitioner a solid foundation. Keeping things simple is the basis for success. Your videos far surpass any others that I have seen, and at 60 years of age, I've seen a lot. Paul, I can't thank you enough.

nice video and very timely. Just what I was looking for. Some resemblance to the Pekiti 5 attack subsystem, but much more dynamic. Thank you

Dude, you are a bad ass! I have been practicing the X strikes and thrusts techniques from your other videos; this new video, though similar techniques, provides a substantial amount of new perspectives. I truly enjoyed it and have begun to practice and implement the newly revealed (at least to me) perspectives to polish and refine my techniques. Thanks. God bless.

Awesome basic training techniques. The fluid movement etc from ur demonstration is inspiring what can be accomplished through training etc. Appreciate ur advice such as preferred grip n ur explanation why strikes are done certain ways. Where can I purchase ur realistic practice knife ??? Kudos for upload. Anticipating ur next one. Peace

What’s happening with your support hand slapping of bicep and some slaps but what is it doing exactly?

  • @JosephSawczak-h8f

Watch this video regularly to hone my techniques. I noticed that you stop and/or slap your striking arm on the forehand thrust on completion of the movement. You also do this on a few other strikes. I have watched most of your knife videos, and haven't seen instruction on this movement. Obviously, it is somewhat noticeable. I have begun to implement this. I assume it is to help stop the movement and to help protect the shoulder. Just a suggestion, maybe in a future video, you could briefly provide an instruction on this. Thanks for providing us access to your expert instruction. God bless.

И зачем эти махания ножом, как бревном? Одно короткое движение и все. Я этого мастера ликвидирую за 2 секунды.
