Awesome match we saw Sonic's experience, in the last game staying away zoning more to seal the win. Both are great and world class obviously but this is the second tournament Sonic has defeated ninjakilla. Both are in top 8 so we will see if they meet again later today.

If you mean meaty the opponent so it’d stuff out armored moves (which the only armored move in the game is fatal blow) then yes you can. Even a well-timed grab will beat out wake up fatal blow because the armor isn’t active frame 1.

i'm sure there is something about sportsmanship or whatever, but every player should perform a fatality/brutality after winning a game. more entertaining for the viewer. if i were running the event i'd have some kind of incentive (100 bucks for whoever performs the most fatalities?) to encourage more entertaining endings to these matches. just sayin--great game thx for the upload.
