  • Fujian Opera, also known as Fuzhou Opera (the capital of Fujian Province, China), is a local opera type of Fujian Province, and one of the national intangible cultural heritage.
    Fujian Opera is the only opera type in existence that sings and chants in Fuzhou dialect. It is popular in Minzhong, Mindong, and North Fujian, and spread to Taiwan and Southeast Asia. It is a multi-tone drama fusion formed by the Confucianist opera in the late Ming Dynasty and the Pingjiang opera and Jianghu opera in the early Qing Dynasty. It is commonly known as "Qiansanhexiang" or "Rongqiang" or "Rongqiang" in the late Qing Dynasty (from Guangxu to Xuantong period). "Fujian". The style of Fujian opera is elegant, unrestrained, clear, elegant, mellow and smooth.
