A thought: if you’re thinking about changing around your hair color, and I think that’s a great idea , go with semi permanent dye, that way it washes out …….so in case you don’t like it, you’re not stuck.

I loved it not because of saving water and I hate doing dishes by hand. I loved it not the idea my dishes are sanitized with hot water and steam from not letting colds and flu transfer to others.

It does seem like everyone is in their own timelines as an adult - even those about the same age. It can be hard not to compare yourself to others. It got cold in Michigan - highs are in the 50s for at least the first half of the this. Supposed to go back to 60s to end the week and weekend. 100s are a bit to hot for me this time of year but would love to go back to highs in the 70s here. We probably won’t see that again until middle of spring next year.

Yes, fostering a cat would be a great introduction to their world and a lot of people end up adopting their foster pet! Also, here in Portugal we have dishwashers and given that because of my autism sometimes washing dishes triggers me, having a dishwasher in the place I'm living to go to college is a blessing because it allows me to have more independece and to not trigger while washing things - it's not lazyness, and it saves water in the process! Have no idea why someone would insult an intire country just because you like to use a dishwasher! You do you! Hugs x

The cake looked great! I hope you had a great party :) The dishwasher thing reminds me a lot about the dryer situation in Germany. So many people can't afford the electricity for it (including me lol) so we mostly use drying racks. But so often people are so surprised when I say that I don't have a dryer. I got a dishwasher though - it was part of the kitchen that my landlord owns and I rent.

It’s all about working smarter not harder. I don’t wash my clothes on rocks and hand to dry, so why go without a dishwasher if you can afford it? I love my modern appliances and will not apologize for it.

Girl, how are you able to do a 9-5. The repetition, the not feeling like I have enough time to do things getting home at 5, how do you do it boo 😓
This is me also. It’s unfortunate reality, I’m job searching again and hopefully will find a remote position for better work/life balance.
You could look into working from home jobs in the near future. It’s definitely a hard adjustment in the beginning, but over time the 9-5 gets easier to manage. How are you with time management ? You could look into time blocking. Sometimes it feels like i don’t have enough time and then I set aside some time to plan and I realize I had more time than I thought.
I hope im not giving off the impression that im doing it well lol. I feel so burnt out from work when I get home that I put off everything then everything builds. its an endless cycle im struggling
@@KeeganActon @jennyram6321 no literally I’m 25 and I still struggle with time management on a week to week basis and still get stressed but one thing I’ve noticed is I often FEEL like I have less time than I do and once I write it out and start to plan things out it becomes more realistic and practical. It’s important to go one day at a time and prioritize self care to avoid feeling burnt out though, is what I’ve learned.
Fyi the method to cook chicken you mentioned it ONLY for bone in, not boneless. And damn that sucks you got a WFH day taken from you, hope you got one back that week or the week after.
Also i remember that dishwasher comment, haha. Personally i don't use it, like its just me and my brother. we just think it's easier and better to handwash dishes. Our logic is "well you're gonna rinse the plate/bowl and put in the dishwasher, why not just add dish soap to the dish and just handwash it, takes 30 seconds". I guess people think differently. And something i noticed after living in Canada and also watching American RUclipsrs is that people on this side of the earth prefer convenience a lot more. If something saves them time and energy, they'll do it. Like using a dishwasher or even like eating pre packaged meals or frozen meals or using stuff like microwavable rice or those salad bags to make food.
I remember once my brother invited his gf and his friends over and i cooked a basic meal from scratch. 3 meats, chicken pork and beef, like just pan fried them with seasonings and Chinese sauces. Made fresh rice and also made 2 different vegetables dishes as side dish. And they were all shocked. They were surprised that i made food from scratch with fresh ingredients. And it only took like an hour to make all those stuff . I asked "well like what do you guys eat?". And they said frozen pizza, pizza pockets, or fast food or salads. That was quite surprising. And after the meal, they said that it was the best and the most freshest thing they have ate in their whole life. They said it was the first time they've seen someone cook rice and veggies that weren't frozen or from a microwavable dish. I was speechless. To me it was an everyday normal meal that i eat. They were even more shocked when i started handwashing the dishes. I packed them all leftovers and my brother said they raved about the food for days and days. And now at my brother's potluck at his work, they all ask me to make them a dish.

The same way you are with those Egg Wich sandwiches, I am with those Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches rn. I had one one day and the sausage was so greasy and just gross and I spit it out and threw it away and now the other 4 sandwiches are still sitting in my freezer getting freezer burnt because no way am I going to eat them any time soon after that😭

I think you jsut need to experiment with thw amount of hair you leave out and also once your hair is up, style the front bits (with the hot tool you were using)

Fostering a cat that is older would probably be better for you. Kittens are a lot of work and they cry a lot at night. If you are upset at noises during the night my best advice is not a kitten.
