Vintage Calypsonian Eric Taylor The Pink Pan­ther made a name for him­self as a po­lit­i­cal and so­cial satirist. In cre­at­ing his own brand, he mixed hu­mour and drama in­to his per­for­mances. His of songs car­ries strik­ing mes­sages about the is­sues af­fect­ing so­ci­ety. Pink Panther a popular Calypso singer from early-1980's . He won the Young King competition in 1992 and made the Calypso Monarch finals in 1998, 1999, and 2000, before capturing the Calypso Monarch crown in 2013
