Slow tempo, change triplet rhythm (durations;long short long, short long short, LLs, ssL, any rhythm combination that is appropriate) but keep the tones the same, add metronome increase tempo. Practice till it feels second nature. Relax into that nature. Change key.
Counter-motion treble/bass clef left/right hand. I would think this is great etude study. Perhaps result of such semi-conscious physical exercise by Glass? All still wonderful, listenable, beautiful music.
The Glass Etudes are very challenging and well worth studying. Mad Rush is great for building up strength and stamina, especially in the right hand. Having said that, there are a lot of unnatural positions and you have to go easy imo - like the pattern in bar 25 of this piano reduction. I have relatively small hands and it can take a lot of work to play some of this stuff fluidly.
Nah just play what you like Thats a bad idea Why? There is no way you like the music i like Dont be so tramatic *The music i like:* (Damn thats beautiful)
I had to physically stop what I was doing to admire this work of art.
I'm still in awe
Beautifully haunting.
I’ve been looking for this for many years and just decided to give it another try. I am so happy someone finally posted this!!!!!!
Imagine having the physical dexterity to play this? 😮🤯
It is quite a challenge. :)
I couldn't agree with you more! I could listen for ever...
Incredible... Absolutely Incredible!!!

@@robappleby583 man i love this piece but the left hand DCAD pattern is really tough. And I think I have fairly large hands too. In solidarity
This needs to be played at the local Von Maur department store the elevator atrium will be for ever grateful

What would it be like if no measures were repeated?
You could try it, but it would be too short and the patterns wouldn't make sense. 😊
