There's a place in Florida that sells old Disney rides, benches, light fixtures. Whatever Disney gets rid of they buy to resell. It would be cool to see a video of this place.
so they buy things, then raise the price and sell it to us to make a profit? oh boy here's my wallet. sure would hate to buy stuff straight from Disney at a lower price.
The original one he did was called Goodbye Disney MGM Studies : Secrets and Memories :) Date Feb.06,12016 Hope you are able to find it :) It brings it right up to this one
Wow Adam REALLY enjoyed this vlog!...I hate when they end !!! You totally make my day !!!! Your kindness and humor make me feel as though your a dear friend of mine...keep up the great work & oh...welcome home !!!
amazing how the last time you were at that tree how upset you were, but now when you came back the issue that caused you so much sadness has been fixed. even though how you are no longer upset about it, I bet that tree reflects a sad somber time that cannot be forgotten
Yes, it hurts to see your childhood roots being torn away and changed! I like the sound of home for the holidays~ glad you and Justin finally did a meet, but gosh it sure was short!
Great vlog!! Happy to see you and Justin!! I love old school Disney but realize change is necessary!! You always put a big smile on my face!! Continue your unique quests and enjoy your family!!
The reason why Animal Kingdom Lodge may remind you of The Grand Californian because it was designed by the same architect He also did Wilderness Lodge.
+adamthewoo Hey Adam if you keep your drone in your van i would not leave those lipo batteries in the heat for more than a few hours as they will overheat and puff up and possibly ignite and they burn like a flare....hope you see this....
I've been watching Adams vlogs for a while and just now realized that in the description he has the vlog from that day but from a different year! That's awesome!
Should head to Daytona Beach and take a tour of the Speedway and then head to the beach itself to visit where the original beach course was located. Check out the website RacingsNorthTurn. Here's a little info on the beach course. The course started at the North Turn on the pavement of the highway known as Atlantic Avenue (4511 South Atlantic Avenue to be exact). It went south two miles on A1A (parallel to the ocean) to the end of the road, where the drivers accessed the beach at the Beach Street approach (the South Turn), went two miles north on the sandy beach surface, and turned away from the beach at the North Turn. The lap length in early events was 3.2 miles, and it was lengthened to 4.2 miles in the late 1940's.
Thanks for taking us on your daily journeys, Adam. You are a bright spot in many people's day...that thought should keep you going (also us fueling the woo, which I try to do monthly). Godspeed, buddy!
Adam...my 12-year old daughter and I love the Peoplemover! So nice to see another fan! Keep up the great work and thanks for giving us a little ray of sunshine fun each day! And the offer still stands to stay with us and do a vlog from Duluth, MN :-)
Almost always youre in great weather while traveling all year long, talk about great timing on visiting random places! excited to see you stay in Florida for awhile, planning a trip there next summer & need places to go, visit the beaches please, heard Key West has a beautiful one!
Im in the UK and absolutely thrilled you're staying in the central Florida area for soo long. Only been a fan for a few months, found you via one of your old Disney videos.
I don't know how you are about boats Adam, but Island Boat adventures is a very cool day trip run by an awesome family. Starts in St. Petersburgs, heads out to The Island of Egmond Key. Pretty neat. And the price is fantastic
Adam in the late 70's where the Dinosaur Sonny Eclipse is in the restaurant they had a Live Band that came up out of the floor.. I remember sitting there with a sign on the stage saying a time the band would start in about 3 minutes and me looking around thinking they better get in here fast and set up then the floor rose up and the band was awesome.. 70's Hair Band stuff with a lot of headbands and fog...
Greetings Adam. Another fantastic video! I give you credit for taking in all of the beautiful sites that the country has to offer, and visiting these places solo. While you are out enjoying God's country, here I am in couch potato form watching RUclips videos on a laptop... Life is passing me by..
Glad that you will be with your family during the holidays. The flamingo looks great in your mom's yard. Since I have not been to Florida I am afraid I cannot make a suggestion..
You're vlogs have been incredible lately. You're really in the zone or something. I enjoy all you do. Still catching up on old vlogs but if you've covered the states already, maybe venture up to Canada or Alaska next. Although you have a talent for finding something of interest no matter where you are, so I'll be along for the ride no matter where you venture to next!
Also the University of Tampa which was a hotel at the turn of the last century. And, of course, Busch Gardens, if you need another theme park to go to.
I love that you will be showing different things in Florida. If my plans hold together, I'll be Going Rving full-time starting in February of 2017. Cruising across America but my first area I'll be going to is Florida. I'll be traveling from Michigan to Florida. So it will be cool to see things in Florida off the beaten path. Thanks!
I would love to go to Citrus Tower again and see the surrounding area where the oranges USED to grow. Old part of cypress gardens. Silver Springs. Is that still there? And a peek at the Atlantic ocean. Thank you so much for all you do.
I agree that it's difficult and sometimes sad when things we love so much change! I have fond memories of the streets too. However with change many new, happy memories can be made. We have plenty to look forward to, and the past will always be with us.
New Smyrna (about an hour away from orlando) has some cool old cultural stuff. Also downtown Winter Park has a nice scenic boat tour if you have an hour or two to waste.
Also, if you go to Tampa, Ybor is an interesting place. It's a Cuban town built upon cigar manufacturing. There are restaurants with Flaminco Dancers and great food. Also a cool trolley you can ride all day with a ticket. (The Columbia Restaurant) Where ever you go in Florida have a bunch of fun! Safe travels!
I wish they could have built on for Star Wars. I remember the streets of NY being one of my favorite parts during our honeymoon to Disney in 07. Taking my little one for her first trip to WDW this October. I cannot wait to see her reactions. At least they are keeping the Tower of Terror as it is in Orland.
I watch your vlog everyday. You're so much fun! Thank you for making these awesome videos and sharing them with us. I know you said central Florida but could you please visit Coral Castle in Homestead, FL? I've been fascinated with it since hearing about it.
Adam, while you are in central Florida I would live to see you visit Cape Kennedy and the old launch sites. Also I would suggest Cocoa Beach as well. I am told that both are largely deserted. Last time I was there the area was booming still back in the mid 90's. Thanks!!
watching your vlogs makes me happy and upset at the same time because sometimes i dont want the vlog to end. anyway thanks Adam for the hard work you do for us and the vlogs! on my way to boring school
Glad you are going to be close to home for a bit. Good way to recharge the Ol batteries. Would love you to revisit the abandoned preschool for zero year olds near Medevil Times, to see if it's become something new and to see if the waterlogged newspapers are still there.
Agreed with the Floridians and their feet to the floor when driving. Drove through Jacksonville a few years ago and felt like I was driving the way I would if I were 50 years older than I actually was! Thanks for your vlogs!
Been following you since like day 1. My injury was right before you started daily vlogs in June 2012. Anyways, I have enjoyed all of your vlogs and the other channel too. But, I really do enjoy it when you go to the amusement parks like all of Disneys. I was there in 2001 and 2002. Sadly now if I ever want to see them again it will have to be in a wheelchair. Keep up the great work Adam. Thank you for keeping me amused and entertained,
Just moved from Kissimmee from living there ten years and something I never saw was the Concorde plane at the Kissimmee airport. At least I heard there was one there, check it out
Don't turn on your Max AC setting until the inside of the car starts to cool off. All the Max setting does is recycle the air inside the car and to start that air is hotter than the outside air so instead of bringing the slightly cooler air from outside to help cool the inside of the car you are just recycling the hotter air already in the car, making it actually take longer for the inside to cool off.
Hey Adam, Have you looked around Celebration? That was first built as part of Walt Disney World. I think they sold it, but would love to see what it looks like. Glad you are back home and at WDW!!
If you run out of things around central Fla. and venture further south keep your eyes peeled for large flocks of small green parrots. There was a park called Pirate's World in Dania Beach Fla and they had huge cages filled with parrots. When the park closed and they were bulldozing what was left one of the cages got knocked over and the parrots escapes. They have thrived in the tropical conditions of South Fla and you can see them lots of places.
I love going to bed after watching your vlogs Adam, it completes my day. You make me smile and laugh every night. Thank you Adam, (P.S. You are one of my inspirations for me to start vlogging)
hey there Adam, I use to live in FL. and would love to see what 192 West and 27 North but going to Davenport looks like now and with this would love to see you go to the former Board Walk Baseball location. Thanks Adam.... As I now live in Canada and close to the Falls.
Beautiful. I really enjoyed everything you showed us,.....even the ride in the car! (I know,...I know,....she must not get out much,...well, you are right.) Anyway,...back to your video, I am actually thrilled when I see a new video you uploaded, that is ready to watch,.....WHAT will Adam show us all today?! One more time,.....!!! (I Love exclamation points.) I love you too, Adam,......THANK YOU! ♥
I think you may have covered this in a previous vlog, but I can't remember for sure. In Lakeland, there is a shopping center where they filmed the hair salon scenes for Edward Scissorhands.
I am so jealous right now. I love Disney but being is Buffalo, N.Y. We do not go as often as I would like to. Just brings back so many memories. Thank you for doing what you do. You can do Disney everyday and I would still watch you.
There's a place in Florida that sells old Disney rides, benches, light fixtures. Whatever Disney gets rid of they buy to resell. It would be cool to see a video of this place.
AWESOME would love to see that video
+Josh Zilka they post a lot of stuff online. I've bought a few things from them.
I didn't see his original video on this so I too would love to see an updated one!
so they buy things, then raise the price and sell it to us to make a profit? oh boy here's my wallet. sure would hate to buy stuff straight from Disney at a lower price.
