My descendants are from England, but my entire family tree dates back to a Viking named Skarði.
@@wikkidklown5650 I'm a Saxon with a portion of my admixture coming from Norway. My earliest found ancestor was a Freeman from Oxfordshire. He was recorded in Hundredorum Rolls of King Edward 1 in 1273. There is no way of telling just where my Nordic blood specifically originates. I have a good idea of the route though considering Scandinavians conquered and occupied England a couple or so times.
@@3PercentNeanderhal I'm also a Saxon too. I just know that my family descendants came from England but was pretty much started by a Viking from Iceland named Skarði lol. I'm trying to learn more about it.

I don't believe this is a Viking ship. Much to stout. The amazing shape of longboat is not like this at all. I always wonder how the longboat didn't break in the center.
That's because it's not a longboat but a Knarr the other type of viking boat en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knarr
