What a beautiful filly and mare. I like how you left mamma alone while watching carefully at a distance. The less involved you are the stronger their bond will be. She must be so tired. She's trying to reach her but just doesn't have the energy left. For those who aren't aware already: Usually they're quick to get up and clean their foal as long as they got energy left to stand. They're prey animals so it's instinct to hid the evidence of a fresh birth as soon as possible. That way the foal has a better chance of survival.

Then, he was at her back end and had a vise of some kind locked on top of her hips. The owner was squeezing it somehow and forcing the baby OUT! Now, I'm a mom, if anyone did that to me or if I ever see that happening to ANY animal, some things are going to change at that moment. I didn't leave a comment, because they had them turned off! I wonder WHY? My best to mom and her daughter...PRAY for any cow that has to endure that horrible birthing process. Special place in hell for anyone that abuses animals in any way. 🙏❤🐎
@@lolanfred1ianuzzi130 they only do that when the cow can't have the calf on her own. The cow is put into a stanchion to keep her still, and standing to make it easier to pull the calf. Calves are almost impossible to pull by hand, and the risk of injuring the calf is greater. A properly used ob chain and ratchet will not harm the calf or cow. As a mom that had to have my son pulled out, with a contraption that looked like a toilet plunger, I am very grateful to doctors, and farmers, that help mothers to give birth instead of just allowing the mom and baby die slowly and painfully.

I love that all the other horses were checking in on her. She did a great job, one of our mares is due in late march or early April. So excited to meet the foal, we are all hoping for a sorrel filly, our mare is a sorrel. If it’s a filly of any color we’ll be happiest. That being said, it is most important to us is to have a happy and healthy foal and mare, if the foal is a colt we won’t love him any less

Too many people rush to get involved, which messes with mom’s oxytocin flow. That can actually make the placenta resist detachment.

I was hesitant to watch just because I wasn't quite sure I've never seen this before and I'm glad I watched it was absolutely heartwarming it's it was an experience for sure I loved when they were bonding how beautiful it is very beautiful I'm not even 10 minutes the baby's already up on its feet drinking almost trying to walk it's crazy.
