Cleopatra (1999) was a mini series first airing on May 23rd of 1999. As of now being (25 years) since its release, staring three of most talented household named actors and Actress. The Great Timothy Dalton, (James Bond ‘87) Billy Zane, (Titanic ‘97) and the one, the only, the lovely Leonor Varela (Blade II) as Queen Cleopatra. Also guest starring some familiar faces of entertainment. A historical, romantic, drama; based on the book (novel) by Margaret George. Titled as “The Memoirs of Cleopatra”. Released just two years before the series debuted, being adapted from the novel. This series, depicting a very good and almost accurate Reenactment of the historical story.
(Series/ Film) -Synopsis: Cleopatra bears Roman Emperor Julius Caesar an illegitimate son, but when Caesar claims him as his rightful heir, members of the Senate conspire to assassinate their Emperor.

I watched this movie several hours after my mother died. She was a history major and so was I. She was a lovely person, and she gave me the courage to major in history I became a museum professional many years before both of my folks passed.
