2000's fashion is infinitely better than today's. I was in love with Andy's outfits in the first movie. Nowadays, fashion, music and pretty much everything else seem so uninspired.

@BeatoricheChannel-yy4gk the movie is already woke. Women are bosses instead of cooking and cleaning at home. It has at least 1 gay character. So how exactly can it "become"" woke?

I hated how the 1st film ended with her trying to get back with Nate, I swear that guy and her "friends" they were quick enough taking all the expensive freebies. It's going to be very interesting to see what's happened between her and Emily. Good thing is the writers and actors from the 1st are back so they know exactly what tone is needed.

Yet, her aim was to do a sort of “gap” year to get her into the journalist contact world in order to add to her CV. Yet, the boyfriend gets all bent out of shape about his birthday as she had to attend a majorly important evening related to her job. Flaming grow up. Plus, at the end, he is moving to … Boston…? in order to become a chef as opposed to being a sou chef. A step up. What part of this does he not understand? Even so, Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci and Anne Hathaway together in a film? An entertainment treat! I want to see Andy and Meryl (can’t remember the character’s name) meeting as equally successful women in their own fields and Stanley’s character having been acknowledged by what’s her name. we always know that the follow up sequels will be suck even sucker if there was no book material. Look at GOT, the series turn into shjt later when they finished with the 4th season due to no more book script.
Andy's Chanel and Dior outfits in the first movie are still some of the best. Great style lasts a lifetime. So many great outfits in the first movie. You can absolutely have a fantastic wardrobe on a budget. If you have a little bit of patience and shop for key pieces at good consignment and thrift stores.
