As a fan of neither team, I absolutely loved it. It made me remember why I love football. The refs were minimally involved, the defenses were each laying out huge hits, and the snow globe atmosphere was beautiful. Just good, old-fashioned football. And of course Jameis' contagious joy.
@@chrissandell3283 well then you're wasting valuable time, too long of a title. Plus, Cleveland is awesome. Maybe it was ugly before I was born but that city is great
I love Jameis, Myles, and Nick Chubb. But especially Nick Chubb. No talk, no stupid touchdown celebrations or flexing after a 7 yard run. The guy just goes to work and gets it done.
I'm a Saints fan and we love Jameis! We loved him when he blew out his knee at 5-2. We loved him when he broke his back and wanted to keep playing and I think one of the reasons the city and the fans disliked Dennis Allen so much is because of the way he treated Jameis. He will always be a Saint. He is always welcomed home.
It was an impossible situation that ownership and management put the fans in…they asked for us to get fully behind a man, a quarterback, that had a lot of very creepy allegations lodged against him. Watson never looked in the camera and addressed the public in a way that convinced us that he was not a villain, simply a man engaging in consensual role-play that got tangled us with a series of diabolical women trying to extort him. Maybe it was not allowed from a legal standpoint, for him to say too much. Why would the cops not press criminal charges if these allegations are true? Why would he pay off these women if there is a conspiracy to destroy his character? We will probably never know the full details. It is beside the point. The organization expected Browns fans to do something that most normal people wouldn’t naturally do - fall in love with a team leader that has this level of stink on him. Many would have cheered for him if he did well. Don’t get me wrong. But many couldn’t even if he was doing well. That’s insane. That a large number of fans would be unwilling to get behind a winning quarterback. That’s the position you put them in. That’s terrible ownership.
Well said..if not a tad long winded lol. Absolutely impossible situation. Ask a fanbase who called a rival QB Rapelesberger for a Dozen years. (He had all of 2 women , and ZERO evidence it was anything more than a Jerk taking advantage of his Fame to get laid , and had a couple if them get pissed over being used). Watsons drama has been a messy mix of what ? Why ? And again? Plus like you said , he never seemed tp address it in a real believable way. Winston is a Big arm and a Breath of Fresh air and energy ! Also NOT the answer.
Nick Chubb was asked if he was happy to get revenge against the Steelers? Nick responded, "No, I play the same way no matter who we're playing!" 🤜🤜🤜🤜🤜🤜🤜🤜🤜
Let me tell you why Browns fans like Winston. He is a human being and he inspires you. We have been stuck with Watson (troubled and antisocial) Stefanski/Berry (billed as “geniuses” but bullshitters on the highest level), Haslam (weird corrupt rich dude making questionable decisions left and right). We’ve got guys in the secondary celebrating their one decent play when the team is down multiple scores. Even Myles Garrett is unrelatable with his helmet smashing and sports car crashing. Winston and Chubb come across as decent adult humans with passion for the game. The team should be built around them.
More importantly, it is almost impossible to dislike him because no matter what happened, a TD, an INT, a fumble or a sack, he’s instantly past it and goes back out. The exact same reason the fans loved Flacco, Brissett and Mayfield.
I guess the Browns fans are ok with Winston who has a career 40% win rate. That's not a typo, career 40% win rate. Wait, for the Browns, winning 40% of the games you start is probably considered stellar!!!!
Hopefully the nfl considers a snow stadium for a Super Bowl. I promise if it shows it will be the most watched Super Bowl of all time. The browns are been considering a dome which makes no sense unless it’s a retractable one. Football was made for that weather.
Used to like wit until this interview when he disrespected Cleveland. Not the team but the people. He’s trash. Thankful for for fitz being a stand up guy.
With Winston it's interesting, because he can lose a game and still be interesting, and likeable. Watson can never do that, ever. You want the fans to stay involved, you have to get players that they like. I'm not going to go into the Watson nonsense, it's clear that was one of the dumbest signings ever, but you cannot keep going to that well, it's dry.
Guys...seriously. Thursdays are Pittsburgh Kryptonite... they are just Bad , especially away from home. And those Refs Thursday?? LOL Jameis numbers were trash. He is a nice "Story" . Not worth getting excited about.
I thought that he won them over by passing your girl around after he was done with her🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ The crab lags thing is 12 years old, time to let it go, just like it time to let go of the girl that keeps sleeping around on you🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Browns will reap what they sowed for at as long as they keep Watson the sex offender on the roster. Win against Steelers was an abberation, don't expect another.
You guys sure are great at complaining about having to cover sports for a living. Boohoo, you had to go to a city that’s the same as almost every other city in the country. Cry harder.

Cleveland is Cleveland.
Outsiders say it with disdain.
We say it with pride.
GO BROWNS!

Chubb is Cleveland. They better keep him here for life and hire him as a coach afterwards.
Best game this NFL season so far
Bengals vs Ravens a few weeks ago was sick too.
AFC North football is the best football.

There are people you root for and people you root against. Jamis is a beautiful human being. ❤

Facts are facts, good stuff.
Reministant of Bryant payoff of hotel maid after he sodomized her. Sickening that he is posthumanly revered.

You guys making snow angels with Jameis!!!! Cool stuff!!!
We gone make snow angels!!!
I mean i love this dude and im a colts fan.
As a Browns fan, I root for you guys every time Flacco steps in!
I wanted Jameis here in Indianapolis 5 years ago
Nothing is easier than to root for the Browns when Watson is not playing.
Watson and Jimmy need a dip in the Cuyahoga.
Well said
So true
ill root for the browns no matter who is playing stop hating.😂
I’m happy for Jameis. He is a good dude, lots heart. But as a Bucs fan I’m glad he is having his moment in Cleveland.

Im a Eagles fan but I bought a jamesis Winston jersey.
He plays for the right reasons. He loves the game. Unfortunately, too many are only in it for the money. Jameis is not one of those guys.
I'll take Jameis over a repeat sexual predator on my team any day.
He's the opposite of that man. He has spirit and fires up the team. He can also complete passes.
As a city Cleveland is similar to Pittsburg, Detroit, Baltimore and most of the Midwest city’s with the exception of Chicago and NYC
If we could get are Browns back from the Haslams, that would be nice!!!!!!
Christmas miracle?!
Oh the owners that put this front office and staff together? You want to get rid of them?? What is wrong with our fans

Cleveland and Tampa swapped QB's in the most complicated way possible.
Cleveland, Jameis, Nick, Myles = Love
Victory from the Lord. Proverbs 21:31
Great work
Could Jameis save the Jets culture?
Go Bills
What’s not to like?
We're the most loyal, rabid, and constantly abused fanbase in all of sports. Suck or not, we show up.
Also, screw art model

Jameis hasn't won over Browns fans. We all know he's a stop gap.
Not the same thing. Case keenum won over Vikings fans and we knew he wasn’t the future. Guys like Jameis and Case give the fans hope and fun.
