Great to see you catching fish in the metro area. When I fished that area in the kayak I noticed there was more action the closer you got to the inlet but I understand how hard it is to walk over the rocks to that area.

Great work hanging in there mate. That glass ghost xrap is an excellent lure. In the next size up (100mm I think), it used to be absolute dynamite on the barra in Darwin Harbour when I used to live up North. Keep the videos coming, even the fish-less ones!

geez mate careful on those rocks. we tend to go out past the shoreline near the triangle channel marker for squid. Ive fished that wall for many years and only caught 1 squid where you just fished, alot more out further, just walk along on the sand and hop up at the shore.
Go to wallaroo near moonta and port hughes ive been out there a bit and always see a decent kingy and big tommies. You can catch all kinds out there aswell like snook,salmon,witing,garfish,tommies,squid,kingues and some more lime travalley

Keep up the videos... Coming from NSW to live in SA the fishing is so different over here. Finding Metro very disapointing. Havent had much luck landbased anywhere until i went all the way to Edithburgh...
Boat based is hard work off of Adelaide. You get a million boats smashing the same patches day in day out, it really is hard work. I grew up on the west coast of SA and fishing over there is a piece of cake. Owning a boat metro Adelaide is pure fucking frustration by way of comparison to where I grew up. I’ve found some patches that have given decent returns, but metro Adelaide is more miss than hit. Still a bad days fishing……………😉
A secret spot I fished at Outer Harbour when I lived in Adelaide was actually UNDER the "entire" warf for big bream, salmon trout, mullet, small mullys and KG whiting on a out going tide. There is a ledge along the back wall under the warf that you can walk along from end to end. Get mussels from the wooden supports as bait. On hot days its cool quiet and nobody else. But I supposed it banned and fenced off now days unless you have wire cutters.
Wow! How long ago was that... knowing how secure ports are these days I would absolutely say it's been closed. But sounds like a cool spot! Thabks for sharing.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed it. I use the DJI Wireless Mics connected to the GoPro 11 with Media Mod on the wide view. I power the wide view with a battery pack and record the whole session, then splice in the action/head camera. I found the remote to be too slow and unreliable... But I am sure there are better ways to do it.

Lures... I was actually just mainly down there to get some photos for an article I've written for SA Angler magazine. So wasn't filming or anything.
