As we aren't ADT, and the TSSC system is proprietary to ADT, we wouldn't be able to help you with how to access programming mode on that system. If you're interested in switching to a system that isn't proprietary to ADT and can use your current sensors, please email support@alarmgrid.com and reference this RUclips video.
I don't believe we have that video but you could use the Tuxedo's Console Mode to program a sensor using our video at ruclips.net/video/_2bhfqJ2Zms/видео.html as they process will be the same.
Honeywell equipment is usually rock solid and 5800 Series sensors can last for years. With that said, electronics can certainly fail over time. It's hard to say from what you posted if the issue is the sensor itself or something else. Is your VISTA-10SE monitored now? If so, what signals are they getting? Can you email support@alarmgrid.com referencing this page so we can help you troubleshoot further.
My garage is open but the panel says closed. What is wrong with this
If you are using the 5816 as a wireless device without wires tied into its terminals. Make sure it is on loop 2. If not it will show open.
How do I program the 5816 on a Vista 6150?
@Gary I had that same issue - purchased a 6160 keypad and added my new sensor with ease.
I'm not sure yet but if I find put I'll let ya know
How do i learn a window sensor to a TSSC system? How do you get into the program mode?

Is there any way you could do this on the Honeywell tuxedo?

Do these "go bad" after many years? I have a 10se system that's been alarming randomly and giving a check for that zone.
