I managed to casually watch seasons 1-6 and I’m halfway thru season 7 since your last upload. All I learned is Doug won’t ever finish the mule, he’s still as immature as ever, and I miss Rafa.

Unfortunately I've come to sadd conclusion to un subscribe to soundman only and only because I no longer find the videos educational... very sadd :( This is because it's all nipple pad install kits which look awesome as hell but it's just all the same to me anymore and if that's wut works 4 soundman then cool, rock on, but I'm just 2 bored with the same videos, this guy is talented and makes straight up fun videos w all the affects and skits but I just kant ceep watching nipple pad install kits, have a good one man, it's been fun!

I would be cutting the whole pocket out of the trim following factory line, then glass an enclosure on there for sure.
Move the wideband to the pillar and don't be a pussy, then at least you can do a tweet on the sail if you feel like it. Get those mids and tweets up high and further forward for a change, and a decent dsp.. It's well worth it 😘

I would do the two 6.5s with new adapters, 3-4” in the factory door location and the tweeter in the pillar or same place as the current ones. Would be sweet to use Dynaudio 3 way with the 3” soft dome midrange driver, I swore McIntosh had one but couldn’t find it.

I did 6.5" mid bass in the kicks in my Crown Vic. Came out really nice. Also did pods on A pillars for mids and tweets. The imaging is excellent. Might make a little video today and send the link to you. Might give you some ideas.
I had a 1999 Town Car, had 6.5 inch Hybrid Audio Clarus in the factory door locations, Audible Physics Ram 2" widebands in the pillars. won many SQ comp's with that setup.

I think this new set of pods would be a much better fitment. And then use the old factory 5x7 spot for two 3 inch mids, and possibly one tweeter on the door and one tweeter on the A piller.

Value your content and the Paul Wall tracks (and when you work on shit instead of plugging bullshit RUclips products) keep hustling, I’ve been listening to a lot of Texas music and thought you should connect with them to get select music on your channel to bump. Ya know, “this video approved by …”
Get another set of a pillar trims, or just mod the originals. Get the mid and the tweet together, tight, on axis. Teardrop or almost triangle shaped.
Get the soundstage up Doug, not this rib/elbow height midrange stuff. Slam the new pillar housing/enclosure as flat as possible while as on axis as possible. Get 100 watts to each tweeter and mid at least. Deaden every part. You know how to do this. You’re just playing games. 3d print some grilles or make an acrylic piece that surrounds the mid and the tweet or both, get matching color interior fabric and do them up. It will look almost stock. For the Mid bass, I guess do the dual but a decent pair of singles would be fine. You have the skills more than anybody. Thanks, congrats on 300k

It's impressive what you can do with dashes, I have tryed to customize some in the past but didn't trun to well. Maybe it's tools and experience

I think you should leave your wide bands where they are and do IB 8-in mid bass drivers in your lower firewall aiming up at driver and passenger.
Don’t forget to test fit this, I can say the iPad kit is going to catch and you may need to do a relief cut.
