I am non muslim but live in Indonesia, we have this wahabism problems too. Wahabi created division no only towards muslim vs. non muslim. But as well inside muslims.
Muslims who voice out for non muslims rights were labeled as kafir, musryik
Used to rare cleric will call out people as kafir, but since wahabism flourished, the labeling is like nothing for them. They even said label of kafir is actually a "positive" term, a "cool" nickname. I'm like TF
And current government starting put them in place and now they deny a lot of abdul wahab teaching like the preacher said. "No that is not what abdul wahab said." TF..I really want Wahabid to be vanish from this world. They are poison not only for non muslims, but as well to muslims..

Inshallaah he leaves all the waves Wahhabism and dives into the vast ocean of Sunni belief. The Haafith, jurist and Arabic linguist said: Whenever the term ‘Ahlussunnaah’ is mentioned then what is intended is the Ashariyys and Matureediyys.
My sincere advice to Yasir Qadi is to spend more time reading agreed upon books of Ahlussunnah.
Ibn Masood رضي الله عنه said ما رآه المسلمون حسنا فهو عند الله حسن وما رآه المسلمون قبيحا فهو عند الله قبيح “What the Muslims deem praiseworthy is praiseworthy in God’s judgment and the Muslims deem blameworthy is blameworthy in God’s judgment”.
By the own admission of the Wahhabiyyah, Ibn taymiyah was rejected and overlooked by the major scholars and community of ahlussunnah for centuries. That is because his odd opinions, his unprecedented misbeliefs, his divergence from the Ijma and his unlawful Takfeer of the Muslims.
Read the books of Nawawiyy, Ibn Hajar, Taqiyyud deen Asubkiyy, Ibn Asaakir, Taqiyyud deen alhisniyy, AzZabeediyy and so much more.
First open your heart then open these unanimously accepted books who were written by unanimously accepted authors since their emergence. There are two sides to every story . It’s time for you to discover the side Ahlussunnah.

After causing destruction in masses you came to know the real face of najdizm, where as the majority mainstream Muslims around the world knew it already.
What if Dr Yasir qadi realizes after some time that Sufi Muslims don't worship graves as misinterpreted by jaahil ulema with out knowing the intention of a believer first.Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah Wal jamaa have continues lineage to the prophet and are in majority. And a knowledgeable person can know that Deen can't stand or continue ,if it's in the hands of wrong people

It’s admirable for someone to see clearly something in the books of their studies which they are immensely studiously attached to - which goes against the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - and to step foreword and be the one who says this doesn’t make sense through the lens of Islam.
It is not easy for a scholar let alone a everyday individual to do this. Credit should be given to what was perhaps incredibly painful and brave for him to do. And Allah works in mysterious ways. If you keep your intentions sincere for guidance, Allah will insha’Allah guide you. Sometimes we need to learn lessons on our way there, for benefits we will understand in hindsight.

SubhanaAllah, I used to be a devout follower of Yassir on Peace TV, and also followed the other lecturers.
About ten years ago, when things became clear to me about the wahabi movement and how petro dollars was one of its engines.
I remember going thru all the lecturers and trying to analize or understand why they were following the wahabi path, and for each one I gave reason's, like fame, and lacking deep knowledge, money etc.
But with Yasir qadi,, I said he looks like he's sincere and smart, left his petro Chemical engineering studies to study in Medina University.
What's is wrong with him not to see the flaws of the wahabi movement or as he call it the najdi.
    Am proud of him.

-Graves and Tombs and their worship became widespread during the later period of Ottoman Empire.
-Ibn abdullwhab and his group were enthusiastic and that’s absolutely normal for any reformers or (Mujaded).
Hadith: Indeed, for every action there is a period of enthusiasm, and for every period of enthusiasm there is a period of slackening. So, whoever's enthusiasm is directed towards my Sunnah has succeeded, and whoever's slackening is directed towards something other than that has perished."

Interesting to see him distancing himself from the Najdi creed, I'm happy for him. But I have to say, as a talib ul-'ilm myself, that the sources and 'ulema that allow tawassul, tawajjuh and istigatha are the majority of the ahl-as Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah. There are sahih ahadith about this subject within the kutub as-sittah. And also in many a tafasir you'll find the famous incident of the bedouin, who was of the salaf, who threw himself at the grave of the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wa sallam, and begged him to ask Allahu Ta'ala for forgiveness. Check the tafasir on sura an-Nisa ayat 64.
Also the hadith narrated by Uthman ibn Hunayf radiAllahu anh and many more riwayat like: "oh servants of Allah, help me" when that person is alone in the desert and his camel/horse takes off. One of the ulema says that Allah will either send malaikah, or muslim jinn or one of the awliya to help him.
How is it haraam when there are riwayaat like this? And of course, the sole creator of all things, including divine help and support, is from Allah alone. We are simply ordered to seek the wasilaat that bring us closer to Him. Hafiz ibn Taymiyya rahmetullah aleyh has been critisized by a lot of great scholars, among them Imam as-Subki.
I'm not a mulla or 'alim yet, but I advice anyone who has doubts about these issues to look up these names and books.
And I wish you the best dear shaykh, I am in love with your seerah lessons!

It was narrated from Aishah that:
the Messenger of Allah said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.”
Ibn Taymiyyah had a simple life, most of which he dedicated to learning, writing, and teaching. He never married nor did he have a female companion throughout his years.

Would there be a connection between the ideology of Muhammad ibn Abd Wahhab with the Ibadi in Oman? Could it be that his ideology is a resurgence of the Khawarij creed that survived in Ibadi? Oman and Hijaz is not that far. Let me know if you have any details on this. Jazzakallah.

They still don't get the problems stem from Ibn Taymiyah, he should contextualise History with him aswell, as he did with Abdul Wahab

The Wahhabis who attack other modernist like yasir qadhi which I agree with them on point don’t know they are also part of that modernist group who re opened the doors of ishtihad and made Albani who died in 90s authority in classifying Hadith weak or strong. He even made Hadith which was considered strong by the real salaf week according to Albani. So know they are going to label me as an grave worshiper or maybe having Deficiency in Aqeedah because I don’t take Albani as an authority in classifying Hadith. Salafi Mythology dajjal horn of satan mythology

Yasir Qadhi still has sediments of Wahabia in him. In Sha Allah this too shall pass, when Allah will's he realizes the actual AhlusSunnahWalJamaat positions on the life of the people of the cemetary ,Tawassul, and Istighatha, are not shirk practices nor does it invite to shirk. At least , not to the believers of Islam, that is for sure, but to the Mushrikeen Disbelievers, yes, because they consider them as gods and independent of God or parts of God or so on and so forth which no one Muslim has thought of the one they go visit at the museleum or cemetary to ask or to seek intercession from. As they know that these cannot of themselves neither benefit nor harm except with the Permission and Will of Allah SubHaanahu Wa Ta3ala.
Serious seekers of knowledge can cross-reference and cross-check with Sheikh Mohammed AbdulWahid alAzhari AlHanbali and other Ulama .

Thanks to Allah I'm no longer a wahhabi, almost 99% of muslims in the world and through history are ashari maturidi hanbali, these are the school of thought in islam, wahhabism is a caner, it is very dangerous sect that makes you believe that all Muslim scholars were deviant for centuries until someone called abul wahhab came to teach us the real Islam from his perspective, also they are anthropomorphists, they believe in a human-like god, that's not the god of islam, that's some Greek god, wahhabis are somehow atheists in creeds
Alhamulilah for returning to sunni islam

The Wahabiesm is the worst thing the Muslims suffered from within after the early Khawarij of Sahaba, according to the writings of Ibn Abdelwahab, no one knew Tawheed and Islam even him he didn’t know it, until something happened to him and he found out about the Tawheed, the Q is where did Ibn Abdelwahab got his Tawheed from? Truly Ibn Abdelwahab is the first ISIS guy and Cheikh of Takfiries, and we all respect to you brother the Wahabies have no ties with the people of Ather, they’re devient in Fiqh, Moujassima in Aquida, they really preach the creed of the Vatican with the name of Salaf or Atharies; please brother Yassir don’t try to sweet this cancer that’s called Wahabiesm and claim that their 3rd version or wave is sound and decent, evil only brings out evil, you need to go back to the understanding of Islam of the Majority of Muslims and Jama’a like the Prophet pbuh and that’s the 4 Madh’habs of Ahlou Assouna, Ibn Taymiya was never considered a reference in our Religion because of his weird Aquida of Moujassima and devient he tried to spread, all of it was dead until the new Religion of Wahabiesm surfaced with the help of the British.

Now, the influence of Sheikh Rabi Madkhali is even more dangerous. Being a faculty member of Madinah University and preaching takfiri of Muslim As Sya'irah presents a clear danger to Muslim.
