Meanwhile his *cowardly power of friendship talks aside* (beware of spoilers): He was adopted meaning he didn't even had an idea who his parents were, he has insane dark power inside of him and have no idea where it came from or how to actually control it,his best friend turned to be a traitor, he got separated from everyone in his class and lost like a month in coma(?) due to mana exhaustion, then that friend dies rigth in Rean's arms and all what he went to through his life turned to nothing in a moment, while Rean had to do dirty work for government without right to refuse for 2 years, and in the end losing another friend due to his lack of power making him go insane and losing himself to his "ogre power". Sorry for bad English.

It makes no sense that not one of three of the strongest women and the powerful witch weren't locked but Juna and Altina were. Technically Ellie and Tio were among the weaker fighters as well but it was obviously going for the SSS reunion and they had history with Maria Bell. Randy and Agate also got snubbed of a mandatory spot.
It feels like seeing your childhood friends is growing up and they always help you no matter how hard the situation is
Love it. This was the very first track you hear when you first start up a new game in Cold Steel 1. Really makes you think how far class 7 has gotten.
