- John Carpenter's Halloween, as I'm sure many film fans will be aware, was very highly influenced by the legendary Hitchcock thriller, Psycho. In fact if you watch them both carefully you see how their filming and scores are not only highly effective, but also where Psycho influenced Halloween. In both films there is one scene in particular that stands out as being similar, the first scene in Halloween and the infamous shower scene in Psycho.
I thought that, with some editing (though definitely more professional than this), the music behind the Halloween scene (Michael Kills Judith) could perhaps work just as well as the incredibly famous piece played in Psycho. So enjoy!

Good or bad, music makes the scene. With this music anything could be terrifying. Good editing, too. The timing that you have on this video is spot on, and phenomenal. :)
Wow great editing damn the Halloween theme really fits in with this scene
Mind-blowing editing. Mad props to whoever edited this!
Halloween is my favorite movie! I love this so much! Good editing!
This is really really cool and well edited. I don't know why there isn't any comments though. Either way good job! :)
This is really cool, nice job :)
Fantastic
Amazing how well this works!
Excellent!
What makes it More sense because
There’s a Guy also Named Sam Loomis in Psycho
I like
Didn't even get stabbed
This music it too heavy and over-produced. While the original Bernard Hermann music is an icon hard to beat, this is not an effect alternative.
Good...not as good as Herrmann, but good.
