    I agree, people should pay off all debt including their mortgage before they stack gold and silver. Once you have payed off your mortgage u will have true financial freedom to buy gold and silver every month because u have payed the biggest debt most people have. Once we payed off our mortgage I got the title in print and it’s a really good feeling of accomplishment. Now, when I buy gold and silver, it’s so much easier and a lot of fun too.

      Generally, yes. However, gold tends to appreciate about 2% on average in the long run. If you have a long term mortgage rate below 2%, then it is actually more sensible to keep the mortgage and stack gold.

    • @silver-en7kl
      @silver-en7kl 2 года назад +1

      @@cyclingphilosopher8798 who has a long term mortgage below 2%? The problem I have with mortgages is they make your home insecure. So in a sense I agree with you, having gold and silver stored can give you security to pay your mortgage in case you lose your job or interest rates rise and you get caught. Lynnette Zang is a chief economist and she advises people to keep your mortgage and stack gold and silver and she says when the economy collapses, you can pay off your mortgage with your gold or silver as they have FINALLY achieved their true value. I like her theory and I actually believe it will work if you have a substantial stack to indeed pay off your mortgage. I’m thinking 30- 50 ounces of gold and 1000 ounces of silver or more if your mortgage is above $500 000. But for me I focused on getting our mortgage payed off before I started to really stack hard. Although I did start a hobby stack of gold and silver before we were mortgage free, my main focus was to pay off our mortgage. I see the merits of both methods.

    • @billyhurst4319

      While I agree with everything you stated its not that easy for most people to just pay off their mortgages. especially many of which have other obligations , children , food , other bills.

    Sean, you have one of the best gold channels. I appreciate hearing your content. I make a lot of sacrifices in order to try and buy gold. It is not easy. I live in Panama. I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to buy some land here in Panama just to diversify. The prices have doubled or even tripled so I cannot afford to buy land. Gold is still a better value. Hands down gold is the best way to save as far as long term savings. At least that is true today.

    Yeah, I'm someone with very limited resources, and started stacking at the end of 2008. However, despite only have $10 or $20 at a time to purchase Silver in the beginning, I've managed to purchase well over 1,000 ounces of Silver and several ounces of Gold. I suppose your two reasons are correct, though I don't think of it in those terms. Personally, I don't have as any sort of goal, the idea of being rich or wealthy. All I really want to do is be able to reliably take care of myself, my family, and even my friends in the long-term. Why do I say this? Because I've been looking at things for a long time in the economic and geopolitical realm. Probably this really took off for me between 2004 to 2007, and the 2008-09 Great Recession was the proximate cause for me diving deeper into the issues and discovering the true nature of money. I have come to see the West as being in a very long-term bad situation economically and geopolitically. I don't see just authoritarianism headed our way, but a full-on totalitarian state coming to full fruition in the West. I don't think that we will be able to guarantee anything (i.e. food, water, electricity, jobs, retirement, etc...), and absent sound money (i.e. Gold & Silver) outside of the banking system, I don't think there will be any way to guarantee that you can still make a go of living and get along okay in your daily life. This is why I stack both metals. I've calculated how much of each metal it would take to support my lifestyle on a monthly basis. For Silver, that means I need between 100 to 150 ounces per month. For Gold, that means I need between 1 to 2 ounces of Gold per month. So let's just say that for 1 year, I would need either about 1,500 ounces of Silver or 18 ounces of Gold. Because I want to have flexibility and options, I treat these metals in a both/and sort of way, so I will want to have 1,500 ounces of Silver AND 18 ounces of Gold for each year. Since I want to have enough to sustain me for a relatively lengthy period of time, I've chosen 10 years as a good solid goal. This means that I want to build a stack of 15,000 ounces of Silver and 180 ounces of Gold. Right now, I'm sitting at under 5% of the way to that goal, but I'm going to keep going for as long as I have the financial wherewithal to pursue it. The best you can do is the best you can do, and that's all I can try for. I also stack metals for others. Obviously, these stacks are much much smaller and they build much slower, but I do try to add anywhere from 1 to 3 ounces to each of these stacks in a given year. In a crisis or long-term emergency, I would be able to help and perhaps even rescue many of the people that I care about. Very good advice. I hope you realize how rare it is to understand as much as you do about the monetary metals relative to our financial system and where we are in the decline of America and the West. Keep doing these videos because people need to hear these things!

    Besides gold bar and gold coins, is it a wise idea for us to invest on 916 gold jewelleries?

      Only if you can get them at a low enough premium. Jewelry is best left for wearing, not investing.

      IMHO, if you get gold jewelry, best to get 22k or 24k gold. Why get gold jewelry you may ask? It’s easier to hide and avoid notice (as opposed to pure gold coins) if you had to flee your home due to SHTF scenario. Jewelry (that is hidden under clothes) do not get the same scrutiny as gold coins and bars. You can always say the gold jewelry you have is just costume jewelry, and it won’t attract as much attention. You can’t say the same thing if you’re carrying “fake” gold coins and bars - that excuse won’t fly if you are detained and questioned.

      They do this in India but the jewelry is specifically designed as simple and cheap and u are mainly paying for the gold or silver content, not the art or the craftsman’s workmanship. Jewelry in the west is often inflated 100x the actual precious metals content. So if u buy a gold necklace for $2000 there is often only $200 worth of actual gold in the necklace. Buying jewelry this way is beyond stupid.

    Hi from a little place outside of Sydney. I hope that you are well & thank you for a great YT channel. May I please ask you for an opinion on my current stacking strategy?… I’m currently acquiring about 1 OZT of Au & 1 Kilo of Ag monthly & would like to be solid with the rate & ratio. Something very shiny (Platinum) keeps wanting to grab my attention. Attraction or distraction is yet to be determined, which makes me ask for some opinion on thoughts of acquiring the Pt at 10g per 1 OZT Au & 1 Kilo Ag? Kind regards & again my compliments & gratitude for you channel.

      No problem, glad it helped! Hmm platinum is a really mixed bag, I'm not personally touching it for now. Might want to check out this video: ruclips.net/video/zyKif3q2OIc/видео.html

      @@SeanFooGold I’m sorry that I didn’t see that video earlier. My humble apologies. Hmmmm, agreed! Conclusively also considering the high production/premium costs, that White Gold could turn out to be Fools Gold. That Iron Pyrite Python could bite my behind & I’m also snake phobic (I have literally been bitten previously by a Black Snake) so my decision is made. Thanks mate! Again my gratitude & compliments.

    Lol you had me up to the point Bitcoin was a crap shoot. I guess it would be for people that don't know how to trade. I use some of my crypto profits to buy metals. 🤑

      Crypto is as much as a crap shoot as precious metals. They are all speculative plays based on whatever the next guy will pay for it. The only difference is volatility levels.

      @Fallout 5 Nexus And there are stories of people buying fake gold or having their deposit boxes stolen. Nothing is 100% safe.
