Led Zeppelin - No Quarter (keyboards and drums cover)

- A cover of one of my favourite Zeppelin songs - "No Quarter".
This is a far cry from a typical John Paul Jones piano solo, but I did my best!
This will shortly be part of a new collaboration, but I thought it sounded OK like this, so I decided to upload it to let guitarists or singers jam along with me! All the keyboard parts, bass and sound effects, were recorded on my Roland Juno G synth. I used my Pearl Masters MMX kit for the drum track. Any questions, PM me!

Absolutely mind blowing that this video has 58k views in 9 years. There’s more than 50M Zeppelin fans out there. Guaranteed every one of them would want to listen to this. I was listening to No Quarter this morning with my two daughters on the way to school. I was pointing out different ways to listen to this song by focusing on the piano/synth or just focusing on drums. This video is just fantastic. Just the Jones Bonham parts (rhythm section) was a brilliant piece of music. Thanks for making this.

Sounds like the real thing in several places. Absolutely amazing. Hats off ! Makes me realise yet again how impoverished the world has become since the demise of Led Zeppelin.

I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin and seeing them play live. You did such a good cover here, I've listen to this probably 20 times, love it! Feel the music!

You created EXACTLY what I wanted - the perfect track of the perfect song for me to add the guitar and bass tracks to. I'll record a Zeppelin version and at lewast one other veesion that will sound like a completely different song.

I would like to ask, what is the sound settings on the keyboard to get that smokey erie sound that you have conquered. I have been playing around on my keyboard and can't seem to get that specific sound that John Paul Jones got and you got to make the song sound right. Thanks, and you sounded great!! Kudo's to you man.

Nope, it's a Pearl Masters MMX tom. It is dark green though (Emerald Mist finish)
The floor tom I used in this video was a Premier Artist Maple in Rosewood finish.

Just some sound effects on my keyboard. I used the pitch bend wheel for the howling dogs. I think it was just an electric guitar sound with the pitch bend!

This is just a 61 note keyboard, I had to transpose it to get the bass notes down an octave!
That low C# was epic man! i wish my keyboard had that many octive's lol
