Using the included click tools (SAP44-Q9303).
Turn the screw on top of the shock absorber`s piston rod to the full clockwise position. Do NOT force the screw to turn. Doing so might result in damages to some parts.
Once the screw is fully turned, remove the click tools.
Turn the shaft on the bottom of the AVS actuator to the fill counterclockwise position (stiffest).
Make sure the shaft is turned in the correct direction. if the AVS actuator is installed with the shaft in the reverse position, AVS does NOT function properly and some parts might be damaget.
Slightly loosen the top nut anchoring the AVS bracket, so that the AVS bracket can rotate freely.
Align the shock absorber top screw and the avs actuator shaft (both must NOT be moved from the stiffest position) and insert staight down without rotating.
Hold the AVS actuator in place, rotate the AVS bracket to align the top tabs with the mounting tabs on the sides of the AVS actuator.
Once the AVS bracket position is determined, remove the AVS actuator by pulling straight up without rotating.
Turn the top nut at the specified torque to anchor the AVS bracket firmly in place.
Make sure AVS bracket does not rotate when tightening.
For Crown Athlete (ARS210), the specified tofque is 16.7M*m.
Be sure to apply the correct torque mentioned in the manual.
Reconfirm both the ahock absorber top screw and the AVS actuator shaft are set to the stiffest position.
Align them and insert straight down without rotating.
Fasten the mounting tabs using 2 OE metal clips, to anchor the AVS actuator.
Now you can activate the AVS.
Please note that the damping force of FLEX AVS dampers can NOT be adjusted manually.

If you have the AVS on your car, but you choose to disabled it and set the shock absorber piston rod to the full clockwise position is it always going to feel stiff? That will enable you to adjust it manually if you remove AVS?
