When you're replacing the left tweeter there is a ground strap just the left of the speaker that should be checked for tight while you're there. Critical ground, many of these are loose on these trucks.

I just did the 2ohm 6x9 fronts in my 2017 high country. Mid bass is cleaner and stronger. I did install sound deadening in the doors. Still have the rear doors and dash to do. Not looking forward to pulling the dash panel.
Do you know the numbers on the set? I’m looking at 4 different options on Crutchfield. It looks like 2 come with the small tweeters and 2 don’t.

If I remember right I couldn’t get mine in there towards the glass

I was able to use a short socket and a 1/4" universal joint.
Are you happy with the sound of the speakers? Or does it have you wanting more power?

The speakers were a little louder than the stock speakers, I bet they sound really good with an amp paired to them. The power bass speakers have a good senitivity rating so they go good with stock power or amplified
Maybe next time I’ll be able to try a powerbass amp on them and see the difference

Was this a 2015 Silverado? the powerbass website doesnt explicitly say wether those tweeters fit on the 2015 model.

Were these honestly a good upgrade? I’m waiting for them in the mail today. I won’t be amping them. I have a slight feeling I might be changing them just to change them haha, like they won’t be different at all.

@@asoutdoors276 I didnt amp them but they sounded worse than the OEM speakers I had. So I immediately returned them. Don't waste your time lol
