The work of art that the whole world have invested in, one way or another. This is the moment of Internet history folks, yet not everyone have figured that out for now.

I had the pleasure of participating in r/place in 2017. I've since moved on from reddit and decided not to participate in this one, but all the feelings from the 2017 event are coming back to me. I'm glad that many existing and newcomers got to experience this. The first one had a real sense of emergence with everyone figuring out what to do and how to even discover communities working together, I think that made it extra special, but reddit's idea to expand the canvas is genius as it encouraged many new communities to form and have a much better chance at getting their artwork featured.
The French victory over the coalition was epic. Surprised than Spain take the lead of it, I think we should create a Latin Alliance to counter the Anglo-Saxon one.
its because of e-sport... the spanish leader (ibai) and the french leader (kameto) are both CEO of big esport structures and rivals so they fought each other. But the spanish community choosed to make an alliance with north america
It still amazes me how close all of the Hollow Knight pieces got to the void and streamer raids yet barely got touched, all of us in the community panicked whenever we saw something happening but it never came our way to pose a real threat.
its so interesting seeing communities fall and rise and see what they do. cant wait to participate again 5 years later and see what new communities have come up

The work of art that the whole world have invested in, one way or another. This is the moment of Internet history folks, yet not everyone have figured that out for now.
😂😂 how people exaggerate online is absolutely hilarious

“The void” is really cool to watch. It’s sorta like it has a personality
this event they got bullied hard, so the swarmlings had to be smarter this time
@@ponponpatapon9670 yeah snowflakes everywhere in this event.
Yet people absolutely hated it. They all kept complaining how it destroyed their art yet they failed to realise that almost all of the arts there had to destroy one in order to exist.
The void has a personality because it's the only organic faction; sure there are void subreddits and discords for it but higher ups only gave one instruction : "Consume".

Yeah, Ludwig definitely should have used the first picture he showed us. I'm pretty happy that it eventually became the Iroh scene though.
that Nami almost killed our OTT plugin lmao, you guys were pixels away from us. ZYZZ is what ended up destroying us tho, but we just built it again in the black space lol

I had the pleasure of participating in r/place in 2017. I've since moved on from reddit and decided not to participate in this one, but all the feelings from the 2017 event are coming back to me. I'm glad that many existing and newcomers got to experience this. The first one had a real sense of emergence with everyone figuring out what to do and how to even discover communities working together, I think that made it extra special, but reddit's idea to expand the canvas is genius as it encouraged many new communities to form and have a much better chance at getting their artwork featured.
i almost never use reddit and i still participated in it
The French victory over the coalition was epic.

It still amazes me how close all of the Hollow Knight pieces got to the void and streamer raids yet barely got touched, all of us in the community panicked whenever we saw something happening but it never came our way to pose a real threat.
both games too well respected to be raided, and the art looked sick
I want this on my wall bceause this really is a representation of our cultures and us as humanity. what we think, feel, find funny and so on!
its so interesting seeing communities fall and rise and see what they do. cant wait to participate again 5 years later and see what new communities have come up
