Hi Gang! The final daaaayyy! I'd like to make a Tips, Tricks and Myth Busters re Cruises at some point! If you have any questions, queries or concerns, tell me!! Nothing is too small or too silly xxxx
I'm keen on hearing what you've learned! :) Would love to know what things you look for when booking excursions? I've done a Mediterranean cruise and it was really important to me to find accessible excursions since I was traveling with my grandmother. I think a lot of people would be interested to know what type of excursions P&O has on offer.
I was given a gift certificate for a cruise but I'm worried about hidden fees and other costs. Like I've heard of people getting huge bills once they're docked and the cruise is done.
do you feel there is much difference between rooms with no balcony/inside only, compared to the rooms with sea view/balconies IE - would it still be worth it if you had a cabin room only? xx
I'm usually a silent watcher, but I just had to tell you that I LOVE how happy Liam is about the fact that you've pushed yourself on this trip - when your partner genuinely celebrates your little victories, doesn't judge you for feeling anxious or unsure and gives you all the love and reassurance you need to do hard things, you know you've got a good one. I often avoid films or tv shows if I think they're going to be too scary or make me feel on edge, and I was always too scared to swim in the sea, but my partner encourages me to try new things and gives me the safety and security I need to feel strong and believe in myself. Two years ago I bloody swam in the sea on holiday, and we've watched lots of new shows together, and he couldn't be prouder of me. It's so gorgeous to see you so happy and so celebrated in your relationship Louise
Hi Louise! I'm Amanda. I've been supporting you since the Brit Crew days, and I couldn't be happier for you! Watching your little family grow and create memories together just warms my heart ☺️💖 You're also killing it as an author and businesswoman! 💃🏾 Hugs from Michigan, USA!! 🫂
Our dear Louise, you know us little sprinklerinos love a Sunday upload for a gorgeous relaxed morning spending time with you!! I have honestly loved your cruise series, so serene and beautiful!
Just in case you want to try tofu at home! If you like it crunchy and fried I would get extra firm tofu. Silken or soft are a bit softer. And they might not taste as good to you if you’d only had fried! I love tofu in all forms but I’ve been vegan for eight years. I’m so happy they have a full vegan restaurant on the ship! And I’m proud of you for trying so many new things! You seem so happy and at peace lately. And I’m really happy for you Louise! 🥰🥰🥰
I've said it once but I'll say it again... It is SOOO nice to see you out enjoying life, taking opportunities and really just getting out there. Weirdly proud of you!!
A 20 min vlog before bed? What a treat! Weather is cooling down a lot here in Perth, Australia. In my soft space with a hot chocolate, my cat and a Louise vlog! The best comfort evening… might even get myself a cheeky face mask 😳
Loved these travel vlogs! I've been on a couple of cruises (including Norway - amazing!!) and loved it, however I'm hesitant about going on more because I'm trying to consider the environmental impact of how I travel and be more conscious of the ethics behind cruise/travel companies (how well they treat their staff etc.). Do you know anything about these topics or have any advice about this from your experience with P&O? :)
Lovely as ever, Louise! So thrilled that your family is enjoying cruising... sure you are promoting it with some obligation but your genuine enjoyment is shining through as well! I do hope others give it a go it is my fav vacation for sure!
Great video idea! I love cruising but my partner is vegan and I've worried about their food options on board so we havent considered it a holiday option before!
You'd have no problem on arvia! All the restaurants had veggie and vegan options, the buffet was huge and of course there is a dedicated vegan restaurant! xxx
Would love to hear your view on how cruises might suit for someone traveling alone? Did you end up meeting new people while on the cruise? I'm also a quite nervous traveler and I would some encouragement for starting solo traveling!
Oh, I have the same question! I've solo traveled before, but not solo cruised and I don't know what it would be like. If you want encouragement for general solo traveling then I can help with that! - I usually go on a hop on hop off bus on my first day to get a feel for the city, and even though most people on those buses are with other people it automatically gives you a community feeling (half of the audio plug in things won't work so you end up talking to people). - I really like museums and that's a great thing to do by yourself because you get to move at your own pace and see the things you want to - Also I love a walking tour. There are tip based ones in lots of cities and you get to be in a group for a while. I've ended up getting food with people afterwards because you can kind of get to know people while you're walking around (it depends on the specific tour how chatty the group is) - I'm terrible at directions so that can be stressful for me, but doing the hop on hop off buses on the first day helps me understand where things are without needing to figure out public transportation, and apps like Google maps and City Mapper keep me from getting too lost!
I do think cruises are one of the best places to try new foods, because generally the food is all included, and the crew are generally happy to bring you something else if you don't like a new food.
I loved that shirt dress on you so much from one of the previous vlogs of this trip that you convinced me to buy it for myself! You've officially influenced me 😁. When it arrived, I modeled it for my Mom and she said it reminded her of the old pinstrip nurse uniforms they used to wear back in the day. I still love it though, perfect for the summer - on a day out or to work.
Was there an option to stay in your room longer as you didn't leave the ship until 3pm but had to be out the room at 9? Also were you worried about leaving your belongings in the corridor incase someone had a root through and took anything? ❤
Loving watching your cruise videos! 😍 I’ve never considered cruising before but now it’s top of my list! You have changed my perspective on cruising, I never knew how amazing it could be 🥰 My question for your Q&A video is.. would you recommend cruising to somebody who experiences travel/motion sickness? Being a large ship, can you feel the rocking of the boat? Can’t wait for your next video, as always 😊
I’m really tempted by a cruise. I’m disabled and have several chronic illnesses and like the idea of being able to do everything at my own speed and rest whenever I need to!
is cruising more affordable then catching a flight, seperate accom and meals? What if you rather see more of the place your travelling then activities on the ship? Can you hop on and off easily?
I have loved these vlogs so much! You mentioned leaving your bags outside the room on your last night - how do you get your luggage when you board the ship at the start of the trip? Does it work the other way in that luggage is brought to your room or do you have to collect it from somewhere / have it with you from the airport? Also, love that shirt dress!
I love this! My partner and I are vegan which can make traveling… interesting lol. So when we travel we plan out meals/restaurants before we even book tickets haha
Loved all the vlogs!! In the ports where you didn’t do an excursion was there plenty to do/ did you feel safe and equipped to go and explore independently 🛳
I also say goodbye to my hotel rooms - they were my home for a little while! 💜 I'm not sure if you'd be able to answer this (and someone else can if there's anyone who knows!), but I don't have anyone who will go on a trip with me, so I normally solo travel. I've visited 12 countries that way and I'm pretty comfortable doing it, but I'm scared to do a cruise solo! Would it be weird for me to join activities or eat dinner on a cruise by myself? Would I end up at a table with a bunch of strangers? Am I making a big deal out of nothing? Or is it designed for people in couples/families and I'd feel out of place?
I would love to be Ollie's friend ( I hope that's how you spell his name) :P He is quite literally a gem, he seemed so genuine in what he said about you :) The dress you are wearing at the dinner by the beach is gorgeous :d view is incredible!! Aww Liam is great! I am soo happy you have the happiness you deserve
When your having breakfast, lunch, dinner do you have to share tables with strangers? I wouldn’t like that if I had to eat my dinner with people I don’t know
No you can ask for your own private table though sometimes have to wait longer, you can book freedom dining package which means you can go and eat flexibly and don’t sit with strangers we never have 😂
What a niche but brilliant question! I don't drink coffee so it's not something I looked out for but I'll find out and when I make my big round up cruise video, I'll let you know! xxx

I've done a Mediterranean cruise and it was really important to me to find accessible excursions since I was traveling with my grandmother. I've been wondering how/when you pay for the things that aren't included..eg room service, other drinks etc.. xx

Honestly made me emotional watching the clip of Liam saying how proud he is of you. What a gent ♥

Ahhh I’m loving how free you’ve been feeling in the cruise vlogs. Absolutely amazing throughly enjoyed them💫💗
Ahh Louise I loved these vlogs so much! I’m so sad they are over! Already Looking forward to the next cruise series xx
YOU set the trends that OTHERS now follow, so if it’s a LOUISE vlog, it’s ALWAYS going to be interesting, it’s ALWAYS a going to be bright and fun!

Hi Louise, We are going on our first cruise soon with p&o and would love to know your top things that we should take on board with us 😌🎉
I love these vlogs, the chatty nature of them and showing us what excites you! Xx
Ah Liam is such a sweetie! X
What I loved was that it didn't appear crowded in your vlogs !
As a fellow homebody, nervous traveler, and generally anxious Angel, your cruise series has been so inspiring!!
I am loving these videos ❤ we have booked this cruise for our honeymoon later this year so your videos are getting us really excited x
I do think cruises are one of the best places to try new foods, because generally the food is all included, and the crew are generally happy to bring you something else if you don't like a new food.

Would LOVE a Cruise Tips video! Never considered a cruise before but watching your vlogs has made me reconsider :)
Yey!! Been waiting for this. Loving the cruise content and I’ve been constantly looking at P&O since your first video.
Was there an option to stay in your room longer as you didn't leave the ship until 3pm but had to be out the room at 9? Also were you worried about leaving your belongings in the corridor incase someone had a root through and took anything? ❤
LOVE your cruise vlogs!!

I'm so excited that you tried tofu! 1000 Glitter Points!💖💖💖
I'm missing seeing you with Pearl & Darcy. ❤
I know that feeling we just got Iona and I was saying goodbye to the cabin. 😢 Am booked on Ventura next year. Feels an age away!
I loved all your cruise videos.
I'm terrified of spending a fortune on a cruise and being super travel sick 😫
Loved these vlogs . Thinking of doing a cruise for our honeymoon next year 💗 what's included and what isn't..ie meals, drinks and spa treatments xx
Most meals are included unless you eat in the speciality restaurants, you pay for drinks and spa treatments and excursions as extras x
is cruising more affordable then catching a flight, seperate accom and meals? What if you rather see more of the place your travelling then activities on the ship? Can you hop on and off easily?
I just whipped my camera out... Oo err Mrs 😂
Hi Louise! Loving the videos :) Wanted to ask, did you worry about getting seasick before you went on the cruise?
Wait… lighting up the food before taking a photo is genius!
I have loved these vlogs so much! You mentioned leaving your bags outside the room on your last night - how do you get your luggage when you board the ship at the start of the trip? Hi! We love P&O and are going on Arvia this March! What was the restaurant you went to in Barbados? Thanks!
Brilliant vlog

I’m a nervous traveller and struggle with a nervous stomach in case there’s not a toilet near by on trips out how do you overcome that? Xxx sarah xx 😊
How do you work out how much of each currency to bring if you’re travelling between countries? And is everything on the boat in GBP?
Would love to know about dairy free and celiac options please
I would love to be Ollie's friend ( I hope that's how you spell his name) :P He is quite literally a gem, he seemed so genuine in what he said about you :)
The dress you are wearing at the dinner by the beach is gorgeous :d view is incredible!!
Aww Liam is great! I am soo happy you have the happiness you deserve
'I'll slip you the 20 in a bit 🤣
When your having breakfast, lunch, dinner do you have to share tables with strangers? I wouldn’t like that if I had to eat my dinner with people I don’t know

Can you just say where your lovely shirt striped dress is from please as missed it and would like one ,thanks
The vegan food ( swoon)
Do they do liqueur coffees on Arvia and do they do coffee floaters please
What a niche but brilliant question! I don't drink coffee so it's not something I looked out for but I'll find out and when I make my big round up cruise video, I'll let you know! xxx
Would love a round up vid! Would love to know a bit more about the buffet options 😂
Are there medical facilities on board?
Yes there is a medical centre with doctors and nurses but would occur an additional cost
Love you forever
Do you have to be vaccinated to go on the cruise 🛳
No x
