This one was a long time in the making. I'd originally started doing this in 2011 in the classic MS Paint style, but my computer had a total harddrive failure. I lost not only the animation, but essentially every art related thing I'd ever done. It was actually the reason for my long hiatus. Totally dejected, I had decided to start from scratch; focus on school and build up a new drawing and animation style. Imagine my horror when it almost happened again! While working on this iteration of the video, my power source had blown out. It left me out of commission for 2 months, so that's why this video took so long to release. Thank you all so much for your patience, and I hope you enjoy this new REMusical!

Hopefully, she'll be a lot less annoying in RE4 remake. I'm loving the more horror look of the remake. Still plenty of action it seems, but more horror is definitely an improvement to me. The biggest annoyance of RE4 was Ashley, especially when you're trying to fight off a huge group of enemies, and suddenly you get "LEON! HELP!" It's constantly like "For fuck sake, not again! I'm trying not to die here, and you're getting dragged away AGAIN!?" If they get too far away with her, it's game over, so you're trying to get away from 15 enemies trying to kill you, to rescue her for the 5th time. Please let her be more intelligent in RE4 remake.
Fun fact - the lyrics of the original Japanese song are nothing like that. In the original Ashley is a humble cute little sorceress, loved by everyone, but does not have any friends and she doesn't know what to do. And yea, she knows the spells, but doesn't know what they do.
Elevating Ashley from "annoying-escort-mission-objective" to BEST GIRL. Seriously the animation improved by a tenfold everything just felt so lively and energtic, I love it! ^_^

Yeah, she wasn't a bad character at all or anything. My main gripes with that scenario in particular was just the Godzilla-sized monster, and how they tried to hard to make Krauser a sympathetic character... it just made me hate him more. XP

watched your works way back when I was still in college, looking back at your older uploads you really came a long way from jumpy ms paint drawings to smooth effects like in this video, you really deserve more views
Thank you so much! Yeah, the MS Paint stuff was fun for the time, and I miss how fast it took to finish a video. But I could never go back to it, these newer videos look exactly as I picture it in my head... and I'm glad you see them as improvements, too!
