As a beer league goalie in ball hockey (foot) I got this for my nephew. And it was fun. Not great for quick shots but nice enough for a set up.
Attach a Pringles can to the top of it, it will hold way more balls this way.

Had a much older version of this product when I was a kid. Was actually decent fun. I am kind of surprised this is still an official NHL product however, since it is a re-skinned baseball pitcher (slow pitch).

Hey, I'm wondering can this device fit and use floorball balls too??
I have one and judging on the size of floor balls I think it wouldn’t work well.
I've had this thing for so long and I never realized you could pull it up more
I really do like your videos, but please, teach John to shoot not on straight legs, especially slappers - that looks quite awkward :) I believe also that he is holding his lower arm too close to the top one, so this can't be a too good slapper at all.
As far as I've practiced slappers off-ice, I tried to transition my weight from rear to the front leg, and even after the shot, I extend back leg to keep the body in balance.
Something like that.
Well, all right, I know, he is in hockey for six months, but do not allow him to grow into bad habits - YOU CANT HAVE STRAIGHT LEGS WHILE PLAYING/PRACTICING HOCKEY!

Actually, I wanted to ask about the balls. By sound when you unboxed them, they sounded like the hard plastic ones. But what do you play regularly? Balls with the liquid filling or pucks with studs? Can you review that? I was not able to find the source of truth, so I am quite confused in all the stuff shops are offering - what should I buy for summer practice on concrete/pavement.
I feel like John had a slight disadvantage due to him not wearing skates so the stick got a little bit too long for him so we basically had to shoot on straight legs, but that's only from my pov

You can tilt the initial angle of the shot from the Franklin too, it moves a little for saucer passing.

Does anyone have any tips on keeping composite stick blades safe from concrete while playing roller hockey???
Hunter Allenbaugh cut one inch strips of metal flashing. Bend 3 to 5 of them on the blade, then crimp them with pliers. Wrap over metal with standard tape job. Or buy a 30 dollar metal protective cover. I use a former top tier two piece shaft, $20-30 composite blades i rotate through about two a summer playing 1-2 times a week at the outdoor rink by me.

Nasher when your taking a slap shot try closing you blade a little more and your shot can be more accurate
Is this product more for stance and placement or for shooting practice
Teach John to hold his bottom hand lower on the stick for his clappers, also to put his body into the clappers instead of staying in one spot and justusing his hips and arms

I have the same exact thing and it's soo slow
I still use this thing but the balls are a different thing. Last year I was shooting a few of those balls in like cold degree weather and they would shatter cause the cold when they hit the post

I’ve had that before and the balls came out faster than I thought so I didn’t like so I shot hockey pucks at it and it snapped in half
