Well, Townsend Pink is an all time favourite for many. You never can go wrong with T.P. Perfect for beginners as it is self fertile, good flavour and sweetness.Your suggestion to keep a small portion of the branch with the fruit to improve its shelf life is a very useful one.Thank you Ms Kim.Great video as always!!!!.
@@kimsdragonfruitparadise I have 30% shade on all except a NOID white, and it burns easily. So,I want to get rid of it and plant something else in the same pot.Was also thinking about Tricia or dessert king. What do you think?

Hi Kim,do you have cuttings of Townsend Pink?Does it tolerate heat and cold?I'm in Bakersfield
Hi, I have cutting . You need shade in summer and protection in winter . The variety hardy but with extreme heat or cold can’t survive

Is this a good variety for begginers? I have very limited space in my garden and I want to get the best of the best. What varieties do you recommend?
Yes, self fertile but you need to hand pollenate to have fruit .
