Next week's show needs to start off with a pop quiz to make sure Dusty watched this episode to catch up with the lore.
100% this should happen
Love it!
Congratulations on 3 years!!! Ter Ler doesn’t know what he’s missed. ❤️❤️
I’m
😢
Nate’s reactions to some of Bate’s best stories 😂😍 the genuine laugh. Perfection
Boat Ramps story about stealing 2nd and then running back to 1st is the greatest thing I've ever heard in 35 years of life 😂😂😂
Congrats on the 3 years and countin' fellas!
Definitely the hardest Nate’s ever laughed on the show!
@@Nash_Nismo without a doubt!
Was laughing out loud at the gym 😂😂😂
@@Nash_Nismoyes!!!! And it's his best laugh ever!!
I have re-watched "Brian's Big News" so many times and it still chokes me up every time! I absolutely love that that is how Brian chose to break the news to the guys. The reactions were so pure and sweet. Thank you for doing that, Brian!
I tear up every time. ❤️
What's the time code for that? I listened to the audio and want to find on this video. Thanks.
Nevermind, I found it. FWIW, it's 1:22:25

Truly loved hearing Beefcake tell his Stealing 2nd and 1st story. Nate’s laugh was contagious too. Please, more stories from Brine’s sports past.

Incredibly helpful, thanks dude!
Dusty was the best addition, made this podcast better.
So got together with my family for the 4th of July. Sitting around eating and talking someone brought up “5 o’clock somewhere”. So I pulled up Dusty’s stand up on The Allen Jackson song on the TV. It got a lot of laughs and led to more Dusty videos, which they loved. I started telling them about the podcast and Nate, so I pull up Nate’s latest special on Amazon. By this time almost all the family had made its way to the living room and we where all laughing. It was a great feeling having all my family laughing and sharing this with my family. It was also great not having to worry about kids walking in and hearing something they shouldn’t. Thank you.
This "Best of" episode had two coworkers come check on me in my office to see if I was okay because this episode had me laughing out loud so frequently. The tears streaming down my face probably didn't give a reliving first impression, but, hey, hopefully we have some new Folks that will join the family to take part in the laughs! Happy Anniversary you guys! Thank you for being such a joy!
Congrats on three years! Brain if you’re reading this I just want you to know you’re just as important to the podcast as Dusty, Nate and Aaron. The show has gotten better and better! Would love to see John Christ back on whenever you guys are both available. HEEEEEY bear -Cian Ashworth
You guys help me make it through the day and night. I am laughing through my grief. Thank you so much! 😊
I'd argue Brian's most important.. Those guys wouldn't show up every week if it wasn't for Brian. Nate wouldn't make it through an ad read
@@jond661I agree Brain is very important, never heard of him before this podcast but I’m so glad I have now.
@@jond661Brian is the BEST!!!!
I’ve been a fan and listener since day one. Somehow I completely forgot about the whole PANGuin debacle. Nate, the shady penguin salesman bit became one of my favorite all-time bits all over again this morning. Especially the part about the two with the wrong colors.
Man so many funny moments that I forgot about. The Greg Warren episode is easily the GOAT of Nateland Episodes. I have watched it more times than I am proud to say and it still cracks me up each time.
Peanut Butter and Potato Chips my absolute favorite.
Dang it, I still get misty when Breakfast announces the baby news.
For the record, I would buy (and wear) a t-shirt with Breakfast's face that said Hello, Folks! underneath. Make it happen!
Nateland Podcast or the education of Nate Bargatze😅 Keep up the great work. Don't ever invite an expert on anything to this podcast
"Black man" community is one of my all time favs. When Nate said, "I should of been briefed!" I was dying. So great to watch again.
Aaron's "faces" and silent reactions to Dusty reading are so funny.
Dusty definitely wears a white Victorian nightgown to sleep and carries a lantern through his log cabin to get a glass of water from the well in the middle of the night.
I have been watching this podcast from the jump. After watching the Best Of, I realized, my two favorite moments in the last three years were one, when Nate was laughing at Brendels “stealing first base” story (because that was the first time I ever heard Nate
belly laugh ) and my second favorite moment was when Bruce announced he was having a baby. Thanks for the fun y’all. This has been such a fun ride! I cannot wait to see what the next three years brings. Also, Nate, I will see you in Fort Worth in October. It will be my family’s third trip to see you.
The baby announcement was such a genuine and wholesome moment between friends.
Disagree. We’re a crunchy skippy family. Can’t trust a peanut butter with so few letters in the name.
Brian is such a good sport and a team player! Congrats!
Congratulations on 3 years. You guys all play a huge role on the pod but Boston Market really is the glue. We appreciate you Barack
Aaron's laughing at everything Nate says is so funny. This podcast is hysterical. You are like a bunch of teenage boys in their treehouse making jokes at each other. I'm a Lady that grew up with 3 big brothers so there was always guys around. I have a feeling that when guys get together they enjoy themselves much more than Ladies do. Girls take themselves way too serious. Great podcast. 😂😂😂
Hey Bear!! Love these best of episodes. I'm so thankful to be a Folk and long time member of this Civilian Station! Love you guys 🐻 So many great segments. Here's to at least 3 more years 🎉 Let's Go, Folks 🏈👽🤡🍩🍫🛸
Congrats on 3 yrs. You've lasted longer than a Hollywood marriage so there's that.
The way Brian (or whoever put this together) cut the "onomatopoeia" clips was genius.
(Check the episode number)
I keep coming back to this episode just for the first 20 minutes. Nate and Aaron losing it at Brian's Greatest Sports moment never gets old!
Watching this I realized the commercials you guys did earlier in the Pod that you no longer do. Whatever happened to the hair loss product you used to make Brian read then make fun of him and he would say he should’ve started using earlier in life? Don’t these companies know they have a goldmine with you guys reading their ads?
Here since episode 1, fellas, congrats on the growth and success. Hey bear!
Three years of podcasts and they still end each episode with “I’m still working. This weekend I’m at…” Though I love the running joke, It sounds like we as the audience are their parents and they’re trying to prove their comedy career isn’t a side gig.
Love all you guys great pod ast,I pray for many more years,.I also butcher peoples names.😂,Aaron I still say Panguin😂😂
Didn't have a hot dog for the 4th. But can a bratwurst count as a close enough second? 😉 Was weird watching clips without Dusty in it. He has become a favorite of mine. Even if I only agree with him 10% of the time. 😂 Let's go folks!
Can’t believe I’m only now subscribing. I’ve been listening for a long time & I guess you have to click the button to be a subscriber
The old clips are so good. Chubby Aaron, crying laughing, hands clasped on his chest; John Candy vibes 😂👏 39:07
Congratulations to 3 years!! This podcast has been a source of laughter for me since the beginning!! Know that "Breakfast" is a term of endearment from all of the folks and that we genuinely are rooting for all 4 of you!!! I have never laughed so much or been so serious to Google a fact as I have when listening to this podcast!! Way to keep up the curiosity!
-Hey Bear
So I'm guessing we won't see any sponsorships from Michigan State University anytime soon? Go Spartans!
4th of July, my oldest child's birthday, and now the Nateland anniversary all in one week! Time to celebrate! Happy anniversary, gentlemen. We appreciate you!
Banana Bread Bates is the greatest baseball player of all time.
Happy 3rd Anniversary. You guys are very funny.😂😂😂
I am excited to dive into this! So thankful for this podcast. I may have showed up late, but I’m just glad to be here now. I love watching back and seeing Aaron slowly fall in love with Dusty.😎😜
The Bigfoot guy saying, "And you want people to take us SERIOUSLY?" Is peak Nateland.
I remember the first episode!! I've seen almost every episode since. Thank you guys for all your awesomeness for the last 3 years and I wish you continued success!!!
Same. I was here when I was the only one commenting on RUclips. Then it was me and like 5 others for a year or two, then Nate broke the record at Bridgestone and he took off like a rocket ship!( Even though dusty would say rocketships aren't real😂)
As a new listener, I've been gradually getting through the podcast starting with episode 1. This episode was super helpful, but I'm still planning to go back and listen to all of them! Keep it up folks!
Cello Bear! I thought I was having a stroke like Bacon whenever the hiking and hey bear clip repeated. Felt like I was stuck in Groundhog Day. Turns out it was just a repeat clip. Or maybe I’m the only one who is experiencing this glitch Inter matrix.
Anyways I’m an aspiring comic from Missourah, living in Seattle. I love to hear y’all chat about life and comedy. Keep it up! Go Bears!
I've been listening since day 1! Can't believe 3 years have gone by. I love my Wednesday mornings. Dusty was a great addition, it was not necessary but great addition.Thank you so much! Love you guys!
Hello Folks! What an awesome compilation, I was dying the entire time. One of the funniest episodes ever. I think it'd be cool if the folks rank these moments. Brian's big news is definitely one of my favorites! Horse Divorce is up there too 😂 Thanks guys, ya know sometimes in life ya really need those days where you can laugh for 2 hours straight!
I do love horse divorces!
"The Best of 3 Years of Nateland:" 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 32 seconds of confirmation that spending two hours each week and making a comment each and every time, is time well spent.
I'll go proofread this now.
Now that it has been more than two years since the “hello folks” vs “let’s go folks” voting, I’d love to see a new poll done and the results today.
Dusty is Ringo, because he started last. Nate is John, for all of the obvious reasons. Aaron is George, whose genius is sometimes unnoticed. Brian is Paul because without Brian, they would have stopped after three episodes.
Thanks for all you guys do! Congratulations on 3 years. I have made this a part of my Wednesday morning routine. You guys make my day! Many Blessings 🎉❤😊
Somebody should look up the origin of Thanksgiving as it relates to the U.S.A. Check out the pilgrims and their intents for Thanksgiving and the determine the president who enacted legislation for a national day of giving thanks. Thanksgiving is most definitely not a secular holiday.
Say PEN-GWIN fast! Not PAN-GWIN. No matter how you say it, they’re not for human consumption… 😜
This Greatest Average Nateland episode proves that this entire podcast is built on Brian and his many misfortunes.
C

I LOOKED it up and it had the sound pronunciation of the word penguin and it sounded like this
Pen-Gwen
In the rare moments when I have an opportunity to say Hors d'oeuvre, I say it like Nate as a joke - horz-devorz.
Aaron's laugh gets me going every time.
Open back the window shade.. Something feels better about the shade being up.
Are any of y'all planning to add Little Rock to your tour dates? Would love to come see y'all at the Looney Bin!
Hearing Brody talk about his past is my favorite genre of comedy
If you guys own the company that edits this then where is the professionalism that categorizes and timelines each podcast?
Hello Folks and Hey Bear 🐻
Aaron was such a happy man back in year one, dying laughing in every episode XD what happened man!?
Marriage
Best line by far in that “best of” is “You go up against Skippy and see how well you do!” I’m dying!! 😂
merican !
What makes you think the ants don't have a CIA? Maybe they were here before us?
Been listening since episode 1, loved laughing again at the greatest moments of the greatest podcast. Teared up again at Breakfast’s baby news again as well. Wow, what a ride it’s been.
I love how Laura is watching patiently with her respectable 3.5 Krispy Kremes down while y’all are going on and on about eating sooo many donuts…
If you watch carefully, Laura actually only ate 2.5! She thought it was 3.5 but it was 2.5. Aww...
I keep watching this video and it gets more funny each time.
Nate's consistent expression after a joke "no, uh, I mean, yeah, so..." seems to sum up maybe his whole life 😅
How many hats does Nate have. Like a hat model or something.
Three men mispronouncing things
yeehaw!
The new contest should be about who will watch what first.
Will it be Nate with Shawshank Redemption or Dusty watching at least 2 of Nate's specials?
Neither will be disappointed.
Then quiz 'em! Hello bear and hey folks!
I think it would be so fun to have dinner with these guys lol.
Love these brst of episodes. My cheeks are cramping from laughing so hard.
How I imagine Nate when he first met Aaron.
N - “Hey dude. How are you doing?”
A - “Well”
N - “! Well, what?”
A - “Well”
N - “Just answer the question dude. What’s the problem?”
A - “Nothing. I’m good”
N - “Finally! Was that so hard?”
A - “That’s fair”
You can see Nate's facial hair turn grey (or PlayStation white, Aaron) in just 3 years! Turning into the wise old man who still has a bit of trouble reading some words.
Great compilation and 3-year look back. Congrats to Everyone who contributes to this enjoyable podcast. Baby announcements from Brian and Dusty were heartwarming 💕Of course I had to go back and check "penguin" pronunciation yet again. I was like "Am I saying it right?"😅. Also, I'm definitely stealing "horse divorce" and "hours devours". I really could have listened to Greg Warren talk about JIF peanut butter for hours (not Peter Pan). Too funny! Thanks for all the laughs
Been here since episode 1! Great job guys. Favorite thing to watch… I always look forward to Wednesday mornings. I wish you guys did more than one episode per week! 😂🎉
My husband and I are going to see you at BOK in Tulsa with some friends in October Nate! Already bought our tickets. We’re all so pumped!!! 👋🏼🐻
Love the show! Listen every week while I’m driving. Saw y’all when you came to Johnson City and saw Aaron tonight in Bristol and he did an amazing job. Me and my wife even saw Dusty in Knoxville for his special. Talked to Aaron after the show tonight about my cpap and even got a awesome hat. Such a nice guy. Just remember Aaron keep on truckin.
-Nate’s laugh when something really gets him (like Breakfast stealing first base) is hilarious.
-Bob Ripplepants is a good sport for putting up with the fun we all have with his name.
-I’m not sure I believe Aaron is a comedian as much as he is the laugh track for Nate on the podcast. I also wonder is Aaron would argue with a wall to prove he is right.
-I am a flight attendant for Southwest and I’m curious why Dusty thinks the boarding process is the worst? Is it the open seating policy part or the boarding group and number?? Every time I walk past another airline boarding a flight it just looks like complete chaos to me. Thanks for the laughs and the escape from reality!
This was fun. Been listening since episode one. The uncontrollable laughing is what I miss.
Has anyone counted how many times Nate says “uh…”. ? Court Just her. Hahaha.
Also this was basically the first episode I have watched on yootoob…I usually listen at night on the Spotify. Trying to improve my attitude for the next day.
Looking at Aaron's computer back in the day realizing he's representing both Dusty Slay and Dustin Nickerson! That's a fun find!
I just started watching so who knows, maybe this is in here....but my immediate thought for some dedicated editor: For the 4 year anniversary, I would LOVE a compilation of every time one of Bubblegum's nicknames is mentioned on the podcast, just rapid-fire style.
I guess I skip some of the ad reads in past episodes because Aaron absolutely slandering Michigan State University was a new one to me. As an alumnus, I've got to say, one of the premier research Universities in the world. Do we let too many in for undergrad - yes - but we have a serious amount of research. Also, number 1 for Nuclear Physics. Also, for Aaron, September 18th, 2010
Alright Nate. The green/teal shirt you wear during the Candy episode (Hey Bear) is the best color shirt on you. Out of all the episodes hands down. That’s your color. Looking good
Hello, folks! I have been curious to see how Nate will pronounce my last name. I wish I could be as cool as Nate or as well spoken as Aaron, but I am just as studious as Blueberry. And I am still trying to figure out Dusty. Thank you for making me laugh and for reminding me not to take life too seriously. As a mental health counselor, I definitely need it. Maya Georgieva
Brian, I can’t believe you didn’t include “Cowgate”. The opening to the next episode was probably the best unexpected laughs I’ve had when Nate says “fixed that”.
I can’t stop laughing at civilian station
I remember the Sore Segore era. The following week, didn’t Sore Segore write them again with an “I’m out”?
I’ve watched The Middle Ages episode a few times and also the clip from that episode on a couple of “Best ofs”. After three years I’m still left wondering if Nate or the others know it’s “Chest of Drawers” and not “chester drawers”.
I recently finished listening to every episode in order to catch the ones that I missed and re-hear some great moments. Now, a best of episode with is "gold." I don't know how people live like this, waiting a week between episodes! Maybe I'll start again from #1. Also, I was wondering, how well do you each like recording podcasts relative to other parts of the job (touring, recording specials, writing, making videos, etc.)? Thanks for making life more enjoyable.
The Panguins are the best 🤣🤣🤣
You were giving Greg such a hard time about seeing Jif peanut butter and Pringles and I was cackling. I work for a grocery retailer and I’m the guy Greg would be trying to sell displays and pick up new items. I will say it is harder than most people think. We obviously carry brands like Jif and Pringles because they’re so popular but we might not carry every flavor or size or promote then the way they want us to.
CONGRATS BOYS!!! high fives all around!! Can’t wait to listen to this ❤❤❤❤
I recently learned of this podcast and have been making my way through every episode. I was tempted to skip this episode because I've seen them all, up to this point, within the last few months. I chose to watch and was not disappointed. While I enjoyed every one of these moments the first time around, I laughed harder than i did the first time around and was to the point of tears for every bit. Thank you for taking the time to compile this episode. It was great to re-live these great moments. I am glad I still have a ways to go before I'm caught up and have to wait a full week for the next episode. Thanks for keeping me laughing.
Listening to them debate about the ant war again made me realize something.... this whole podcast came out of COVID, which is a situation that proves even with a common enemy human beings will fight amongst themselves first before trying to solve a problem. You even have the same type of debate going... one side says it's not even a problem, why are we even talking about it and the other is saying it's a major issue and if we don't work together millions will die.
This episode highlights one of the reasons I love this podcast. The four of you have unique and delightful laughs! Keep the giggles, chuckles and guffaws coming! 😂
I had a long drive today and was feeling a little bummed out. Turned this highlight episode on and hadn't laughed so hard in a while. Your podcast is like a dose of sunshine. Thanks for being awesome!
