@@emonilynn dude, we get it, you won’t pay a subscription. You’re gonna use an 11 year-old program that I’m amazed still works with your operating system. Unless you’re still using Windows XP? Why bother watching any Photoshop videos still? They have no relevancy to you. Adobe will never go back to the model you prefer. Subscriptions are here to stay forever.
Great video Aaron. I hope your Phlearn business is going well. I miss the days of you doing all of your videos from your Chicago Studio. I'm a long time subscriber. You have helped me very much with my Photoshop skills through the years.
Aaron - I really appreciate the last couple videos, short, sweet and to the point. But more than that, as a High School photo teacher that also incorporates a heavy dose of Photoshop into the school year, these lessons give me some inspiration and something to build off of. So with that in mind, I have a question for you. I have done a lot of searching in RUclips and I find various lessons on hints, tips, procedures that I can teach my kids but what I find lacking are tutorials specifically geared towards teaching Photoshop to beginner, high school-aged kids that enter a program with zero skills, zero capabilities, zero knowledge of PS and sometimes, no knowledge of computers. You did the 30 Days of Photoshop over 4 years ago...so much as changed and though helpful insightful, I don't know that the lessons are necessarily geared towards the demographic I'm speaking to. I'm sure it's a small demographic and probably wouldn't be the highest viewed tutorials that are big money makers, but then again, maybe they would be?
Hey there! Thank you so much for your kind words and for using our tutorials as inspiration. If you're interested in creating tutorials for your students, we would advice you to: - focus on the essential tools like layers, masks, adjustment layers, and basic filters. - Use relatable projects like creating social media graphics, editing photos, or designing simple logos. - Break down complex tasks into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Now, we know that creating your own tutorials can be a time-consuming task and that you might not have the time/resources to take on that. Differently from our FREE tutorials that offer a first look into tools/techniques, our PRO tutorials cover essential Photoshop skills, from basic tools like layers and masks to more advanced techniques. They're broken down into easy-to-follow steps, making them perfect for students with no prior experience. If you're interested, we offer special discounts for schools and teachers to help make our resources more accessible. If you would like to know more, send us an email to support at phlearn dot com, and we'll be happy to help you!
The competition is amazing. It forces companies like Adobe to make products even better. Simplified.

You need to start teaching Affinity Photo/Designer
That's a great suggestion! Definitely on our to do list 🤗
dopepics AI fixes this. Photoshop 2025: New Adjustment Brush
You've got Affinity . . .
Adobe has become the devil. The company, not the engineers.
