Great video, i can relate with Mariana's first impression on Raycast, in the beginning it seems too overwhelming and complex, but when you start using just a simple extension often you begin to feel more comfortable in doing all the other great things Raycast can do for you. Nice too see other brazilians working internacionally, you guys motivate me to seek for greatness abroad
Yeah, agreed! It's a bit of a challenge to frame a tool that can do so much in a way that is not intimidating, but that's one of our main focus right now!
I've been using that as my Mac and iPhone backgrounds since they were revealed! Fun to know someone else has the same setup. Enjoyed the video, learned a lot
In France from Brazil and she speaks English perfectly, and she is coding some websites from what I understand, and she is super young. I do some coding at more than double her age, and that's amazing to see how young some people have already learned so much.
Really enjoyed this video. This type of video shows usage of raycast from different user's perspective. In the next one, bring someone from engineering side.
Re: Sharing Floating Notes with another app..if I use Bear as my main notes app (as opposed to Apple Notes)..is there a way to get it to appear in the share menu for Floating Notes?
Interesting to hear a different power user's prospective. On my side i never use shortcuts because i already have tons of collisions. I spend my time removing shortcuts when i don’t need them 😅
@@andre.bandarra I was using rectangle for split views. so just in case if I want to do it in Raycast I have assigned very small aliases in raycast, only that. I don't want to uninstall Rectangle haha.
Super cool. This changed the way I do window management with Raycast -- shortcuts for this are amazing.
My face was the same as at 9:01 and I learned something new 🔥
I use it all the time now 😅 - Bruno

it's just like in the terminal

Obrigado! 🇧🇷😃
Yeah, it was some valuable feedback that we’re definitely taking into consideration while we grow our product.

As a Software Engineer, I've noticed a lot of parallels with Mariana's usage of Raycast. The Option +

This video just convinced me to try Raycast.

Cheers Brian, good to see you here, and glad you liked it!
Thank you very much! You shortcuts system is amazing! Using it now too.
1:20 casually proving i’ve just always been there behind the scenes. no cgi

I've never heard the term "brain dump" before I started watching these videos.
Raycasts should have stats for most used commands or extensions. Some page with graphs

I also get a lot of collisions! I've been trying a healthy balance, but I admit I'm a little lazy and should take a moment to plan it all 😅
I usually put the window manager with ctrl+opt+cmd+{something} to avoid it, in the other shortcuts i always try to avoid the Photoshop ones
@@andre.bandarra i do exactly the same 🪟

I was suprised you are from brazil (like me). I would not have imagined at all.
Great content. Waiting for more❤
I couldn't find the translator extension in store. Could you please share that :)
The Translator is a built in extension for Raycast Pro subscribers! You can become a member at raycast.com/pro
@raycastapp I'm a Raycast Pro user and I can't find it
She says she’s not a power user but it sounds like she uses it close to its fullest potential for her use case
I don't see other options to share floating notes like convert to mail / todo
Unable to call Raycast with startup console open?why???
Like her system
I volunteer to be the next guest on the series 🙌🤩

idk why 1:20 was so funny to me lmao
Make one on how a teacher uses raycast.
Can't wait until linux support hits and I can finally drop dmenu and about 100 bash scripts
Come to Windows please!
Really Awosome

gonna use «brain dump» from now on!
Irrelevant and maybe out-of-place, but Mariana seems lovely and is quite beautiful!
