Hi love your videos ❤ KitbashCarnage hear at the age of 31 iv recently got back into the warhammer/kitbashing community agen after taking 15year brake to pay bills and so on . I have taken the leap head on and started a youtube channel along with Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok. It's hard with this algorithm thing is somthing to get used to along with editing and so on but my love and the flame for my lost passion has been reignited more then ever and dont plan on stopping soon . Along with having lots of content plans and already in the pipeline and also a Revamp to all social media with new header picture and profile picture from a digital contractor I sorced I hope to just gain more traction to the community iv came back to 🔥 Regards KitbashCarnage
Very cool, it's just big enough to give a sense of scale. Have you considered actually grouting in your bricks? I've seen a few people do that and it's always a high impact detail. I'm also curious how expensive those foam safe spray cans are vs black and grey airbrush primers.
Thanks! I use the spray cans because I don’t own an airbrush. The Krylon Shortcuts are $4 per 3oz can, and the Liquitex is about $15 for 12oz. Also, I actually have grouted the bricks before! I did it for a 3D printed castle and thought the effect was really cool.
@@parttimetabletopper If your in the US try looking up the reviews for the harbor freight airbrush, from the reviews I've seen it's an acceptable beginners airbrush that is at least good enough for priming zenithal priming and terrain once you get good with them, and wont break the bank. Also keep the recite if you hate it just take it back.
Thanks so much! I have a smaller house, and my shelves are almost at capacity. Luckily, most of the large projects I’ve made have been for other people. I simply build it and ship it out 📦
Anyone else having issues finding the $1.25 Tree foam boards? I'm wondering if it's just a local problem or if they've stopped selling them. Also that colosseum turned out fantastic!
It’s definitely regional, and I go through issues from time to time. I restocked last year, but had to drive 30+ minutes to find some. I went through a phase where if I was ever far from home and saw a Dollar Tree, I’d swing in and grab a couple boards if they had them.
Thank you! Not specifically for this build, but in general absolutely. Jeremy’s one of the big OG RUclips crafters, and his channel helped me build a solid foundation of techniques and recipes when I was getting started. Neil from Real Terrain Hobbies was another big one. This build in particular drew a lot of inspiration from the Coliseum from Tabletop Witchcraft, a couple battle maps I found online, and reference art my buyer sent me earlier this year.
the painted product looks surprisingly good. I say this as you made quite some mistakes along the way... the way you used the brick stencil I assume you had a way too high temperature on the wire... also careful planning beforehand would have made these indent sections look a bit better if you aktual used the stencil for the arches with the hot wire cutter... or even a hand held one... again... the painted version really hid a lot of the errors... and looks very good! sorry for the perhaps harsh critique... Thanks for watching, Mathias, and I’m glad you liked the finished product. To quote the late great, there were no mistakes, just happy accidents. It’s easy to turn small imperfections into something that gives the piece character or to just cover them up. For instance, the arch indents getting burned by the hot wire knife meant I didn’t have to texture the stones before painting. My goal for every build is to create an awesome piece that enhances the game table, and I think this achieved that. 🤙
I hope it's my DM who bought that, that's incredible!
Amazing build! I like how you painted the brick so there was some good variation between them
This was really cool to see the creative process unfold! Looking forward to seeing more builds!!
Awesome job! I love the detail you've gone to with this build. Amazing work 👍
Thanks so much! It was a labor of love
Looks cool.
Great attention to detail!
What a masterpiece, dude!
Thanks man!
Such talent and skill. 👍👍
The arena looks awesome. You can always make the arena bigger if you magnetized in spots.
Thank you! And that’s very true. There’s room to grow if you wanted.
Huzzah and Hell'sYeah what a wonderful creation you made .

That’s the second recommendations I’ve had for that one. I’ll look into it 👍
Wow. Holy crap.
Très joli! Nice video! A massive project like this also takes a lot of storage space. Is that a problem that you've encountered yet?

@@parttimetabletoppergreat tip, I guess I need to go on a hunt lol
Can you list the name of the jigs you used to create the stone and pillars?
Sure thing! Both are from Shifting Lands, and are called the “Brick Cutter Template Set” and the “Pillar Template Set”
@@parttimetabletopper aces, my friend thank you!
Looks great! Were you inspired by Jeremy at Black Magic Crafts?

@parttimetabletopper Well, your builds & videos are solid, as well! I love the TT crafting community & you're no exception! Keep it up, please!
I really appreciate that 🙏🤘 The TT crafting community is awesome
What was the size of this
Just shy of 2ft in diameter total
