  • From a determinedly minimal set of tools -- simple circuitry, small motors, 1s and 0s -- artist Tristan Perich creates expansive works: dense digital symphonies, large arrays of microtonal sound, and wall-spanning mechanical drawings. We joined him last week at a temporary studio in tucked away in Midtown Manhattan, delving into the theory and execution of some of his recent work. Also including the latest of Perich's visual pieces, a drawing still on-view at Brooklyn's Silent Barn.
Featuring excerpts from 1-Bit Symphony (Movements 1 and 4), "Formations", and "Observations".

This is going to definitely show my age and length of time on RUclips, but I swear that is the old =3 set. Like, way back when RWJ was still low budget and still up and coming. Could just be a regular layout for midtown places.
