- Well, you love your realistic Planet Coaster parks, so let's do another one. Welcome to ChachoLandia: A cross between Cedar Point, Thorpe Park, Dorney Park, Carowinds and Energylandia. Opened by Cedar Fair in the UK in 2015, we are building with a bigger budget!
This week, we add in the winner of last week's community poll: A B&M Invert. Come along as we talk about how B&M inverts work, how they are designed and pull together the area into one.
Using realism I’ve learnt from my experience of working for a real-life theme park company and over 4000 hours of Planet Coaster play time. Using true-to-life principles, we walk through each stage of the build reasons why things are built in a certain way- as well as some top tips on how these were achieved too by pulling them apart for you to see. What if Cedar Fair opened a park in the UK? Would it look like Alton Towers? Thorpe Park? Or would it take on the form of more American parks like Cedar Point? Canada's Wonderland? Or would it be more themed like DollyWood, Legoland, Busch Gardens or SeaWorld? Oh, and don't forget Six Flags too! What about China? I hear Flying Kiss theme park in China is a good one too! Well, one thing is for sure, realistic Planet Coaster parks don't come much more realistic than this and let's be honest, other Planet Coaster Let's Play or Planet Coaster gameplay videos won't give you the real reasons why things are as they are. Where do you place rides, rollercoasters, shops, paths, plazas, car parks, entrance areas, tickets, turnstiles, maintenance sheds and so on? I'll tell you where as we up the Planet Coaster Realism game! This is more than just a Planet Coaster Tutorial; this is a Planet Coaster best park ever!' Just so you know, my realistic series uses Planet Coaster Sandbox. It's time to get Planet Coaster real! Episodes with rollercoasters also have rollercoaster povs too. Inverts of this kind are designed to throw around the track.. none of this "Big American" going on here lol.. I felt sick just riding it! :D
this is what i have been waiting for .. :) :) see i told you an invert would work in this park.. im dying for it ... 100% now all you need is the mack launch like copperhead.. a single rail . and small B&M dive like valkryia.. then this park would be complete.. i have those if you want me to send them to you and see how they fit in the park....this park is fire man.. i cant wait for the next upload.. keep up the amazing work.. you rock bro!!! :) : ):)
Absolutely stunning work as always. B&M Inverts have always been one of my top coaster types and you totally nailed it. Some great near misses/interactions. I also love that it ‘rides’ quite intense or at least looks like it would.
It's definitely one of the harsher ones, that's for sure! Going for a Nemesis / Inferno style ride rather than a more graceful Oziris one... :)

One word WOW. just finished the premiere and I have a few things
1. Sadly I can’t vote in the poles as I am on ipad so if it is for the next rollercoaster please build a wooden coaster or launched coaster. if it is a next theme land then please do pirates and I think the UKs first beater coaster would work really well.
2. The drop tower. I know you said you were thinking of doing a croc drop thing but decided not to and I think that was a good choice as it doesn’t look like there is any room and will interrupt views from the ground. But I do think it needs something on the ride.
3. Can you please do some things out of planet coaster like vlogs or news updates from parks as if you have a bit more of a choice of video you will probably tell more views and subs.
4. Lastly please build this theme park in real life.
Amazing video and I like how you add loads of scenery instead of just squeezing rides in. As we saw in paultons park and CWOA theming makes a theme park a theme park. Keep up the great work well done 👍👍👍👍👍

The vlogs are on hold for a while. I had planned them - and started to film them - but had to stop them temporarily. I have an idea for a series, but I need to flesh it out some more.. Plus with restrictions in place, there aren't many places to visit at the moment - and we can't go abroad yet.

Beautiful coaster, but dont most, if not all b&ms have holding brakes at the top of the lift hill? They are used for holding the train if it needs te be evacuated when it is over the top of the hill, to prevent an incident like what happened on the python in the efteling when, while evacuating the centre of gravity moved and the train started moving.
Not anymore, no. The newer built ones don't need this any longer. They now have strong enough anti-rollbacks to hold the train where-ever it is and if there is an e-Stop the chain completely locks up through a power supply cut. The only way to unlock it is to re-introduce power.. so that train stalling at the top is no danger... This was a system introduced after the incident of the train rolling off the lift and into the course during an evac happened...
Only 146k pounds? dang I'm sorry your mother can't ride inverts...
