Yes, if the program says then you can apply in your final year. For eligibility criteria, you need to look at the main website of the programs you’re interested using the Erasmus Mundus catalog 😊

When we open the program name then thay have provided the start and end date( for eg. 2019-2027). But if the end date is 2025, will the program open application for upcoming session . For instance, I think that they will not open application for International Master of Science in Rural Dvelopment

Hey, I loved your video. I am planning to apply for the scholarship this year again. I'd applied last year and got a conditional offer from the University since i hadn't provide the passport and English proficiency test results and certificate. I ended up loosing the opportunity coz i couldn't provide the IELTS certificate on time given the deadline they'd allocated. Now, I want to do it this year while more prepared. My question is, do they cater for your airfare from your country to the uni you're to report come September? Also, what about the fare and costs for moving from one university and country you're supposed to participate in. Do they cover all these expenses?
@@cozyoudeserveit2635 before they had specific costs allocated for travel and related costs but it was when the monthly allowance was €1000 but now as most programs have increased the amount to €1400, they don’t do it anymore so the initial cost will be yours. Check for your program, there might be things that are different for different programs you know. Hope this info helped 😊😊

@@cozyoudeserveit2635 even for the second country (based on what I know from recent year students) but once you’re here, I don’t think it’ll be difficult for you to move to another country given that you can easily manage the travel costs from one to another country based on your saving from the monthly allowance.

Is a valid IELTS certificate absolutely necessary to apply for EM scholarship? I have done my IELTS in 2019 and received the score of overall 7 band with CEFR level C1. Unfortunately, it has expired in 2021. Wouldn't the certificate, even expired, state the language proficiency, will it be sufficient to apply for the EM scholarship?

@@Name-lh4dz yes 🙌 it’s a bit different and you are 💯 correct you choose the program and apply- when applying you’ll already see the universities- which you have to choose from the list as most programs have the format where you choose at least 2 different universities based on where you want to study. The application is one where you apply for the program and while applying, you will have to choose the universities (for instance:in some universities, one semester or one year might be fixed and you will choose universities for another year or semester; thus one application for both scholarship and universities and the programme 📑. If it is not showing on the list, then it’s very likely that the program is not under the scholarship programme. But try and browse through the entire list as sometimes, there might be programs similar to your interest but might have been named different as compared to the keywords you’ve used while searching for your programs.

Do we require to bear any miscellaneous costs during our program duration irrespective of scholarship or does it provide everything, I.e Is Erasmus Mundus a fully funded scholarship.
Hi Prayas. Though I have already replied to you, I am still replying so that anyone with a similar query can get a reply. Erasmus scholarships include tuition fees and the living allowances so you don't have to worry about the living costs. However, the cost that you will incur before coming abroad like flight and visa fees will not be covered. The amount is enough for you but you will usually get it once you have an account in the host country so you have to manage the initial costs as such :)
I'm a current BSIT student (4-year program) halfway through my degree. Do the Erasmus Mundus courses offered for a specific field of study remain the same year after year? (e.g., Will the courses available this year be the same as in 2026?). Knowing the available courses beforehand would allow me to pick one and gain relevant work experience before applying. Second, all the programs and universities are under the scholarship programs unless stated otherwise meaning sometimes some programs only take self-funded students which they will state in their sites. And for IELTS or other tests, you need to have them usually before applying via the application portal as you need to upload the documents during the application process itself. The ideal time to take the test would be right before you apply (of course keeping in mind that you have enough time to get the results for your application). No, the semester will not start before the scholarship results- it’s not possible. Usually you’ll receive an acceptance or the opposite in your email and if you’re accepted, you’ll surely have enough time to apply for a student visa, but once you get it, it’s better you apply for the student visa asap. Usually, the general criteria is that the CGPA accounts for the highest weightage amongst other documents. But there are definitely some programs that specifically mention the grades or like for example you need to be in top ____ % of your class. So, it’s important that you know your programs of interest and check their individual requirements. The Erasmus Mundus Catalogue is literally the answer to all your questions- I have linked Catalogue in my video’s description and hope this helps.
To the best of my knowledge and own experience, I’d say you don’t pay any form of declaration as such. Largely because you are receiving enough funding for your tuition fees and the living expenses so it really doesn’t make much sense to pay the commitment part. Hope this helps :)

I don't think the selection committee will notice as you apply with the same LOM for different programs but to better tailor it to the specific program, I recommend preparing different LOMs or at least tweaking the first one.
As long as you have bachelors in the field that you want to do your master’s in, you’re eligible for the application. It’s very important to look into the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue and hence I recommend you to do the same.
Has there been a new change that allows application to more than 3 programs? And all the programs I want to apply for have an end date of this year! But three of them have been going on since the 2000s, so is it safe to assume they will continue to fund the programs?
Hello Shreedhar. Yes, they made this change a while back so you are eligible to apply for more than 3 programs if you want to. If they mention so, then it might be that they will not continue. But usually, they come up with similar new programs once the old ones phase out. If the three programmes you are talking about, don’t say anything about the period for which they are operating, then it’s likely they will continue. It’s good to be updated with the website particularly around September as they would update their website before the application opens.

The deadlines vary with the program so please check the catalogue first and then the main website of the program to see that and also the opening date- usually they open the applications from September or October. For your subject, you need to see if there are any programs that provide scholarship for English literature via the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue and hope this helps :)

Hi Sandesh, please go through the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue that has been posted in the description of this video. Use both filter search like type finance once and economics second and see the programs for yourself. If you don’t find much in this manner, try going through the whole list, make a list of the programs as per your interest. Yes, the ones that will open now will be for the next year but it will start at around October but please keep yourself updated with the Erasmus Mundus Catalog from the description in this video. It is important because different courses will have different opening and closing times.

The links to the main page should be working but the ones for applying to the programs are not yet working because they will only open once the application period starts; which is usually from Sept-Oct. So, please check during those months or often (my recommendation) as the deadlines will vary with different programs.

When we open the program name then thay have provided the start and end date( for eg. 2019-2027). But if the end date is 2025, will the program open application for upcoming session . For instance, I think that they will not open application for International Master of Science in Rural Dvelopment

Hey, I loved your video. I am planning to apply for the scholarship this year again. I'd applied last year and got a conditional offer from the University since i hadn't provide the passport and English proficiency test results and certificate. I ended up loosing the opportunity coz i couldn't provide the IELTS certificate on time given the deadline they'd allocated.
Now, I want to do it this year while more prepared. My question is, do they cater for your airfare from your country to the uni you're to report come September?
Also, what about the fare and costs for moving from one university and country you're supposed to participate in. Do they cover all these expenses?
@@cozyoudeserveit2635 before they had specific costs allocated for travel and related costs but it was when the monthly allowance was €1000 but now as most programs have increased the amount to €1400, they don’t do it anymore so the initial cost will be yours. Check for your program, there might be things that are different for different programs you know. Hope this info helped 😊😊

Is a valid IELTS certificate absolutely necessary to apply for EM scholarship? I have done my IELTS in 2019 and received the score of overall 7 band with CEFR level C1. It is the case when the programmes don’t provide the scholarship and only enroll self-funded students- usually due to the financial considerations. I hope this helps.

@@Name-lh4dz yes 🙌 it’s a bit different and you are 💯 correct you choose the program and apply- when applying you’ll already see the universities- which you have to choose from the list as most programs have the format where you choose at least 2 different universities based on where you want to study. The application is one where you apply for the program and while applying, you will have to choose the universities (for instance:in some universities, one semester or one year might be fixed and you will choose universities for another year or semester; thus one application for both scholarship and universities and the programme 📑. If it is not showing on the list, then it’s very likely that the program is not under the scholarship programme. But try and browse through the entire list as sometimes, there might be programs similar to your interest but might have been named different as compared to the keywords you’ve used while searching for your programs.

Hi Prayas. Though I have already replied to you, I am still replying so that anyone with a similar query can get a reply. Erasmus scholarships include tuition fees and the living allowances so you don't have to worry about the living costs. However, the cost that you will incur before coming abroad like flight and visa fees will not be covered. The amount is enough for you but you will usually get it once you have an account in the host country so you have to manage the initial costs as such :)

Second, all the programs and universities are under the scholarship programs unless stated otherwise meaning sometimes some programs only take self-funded students which they will state in their sites. And for IELTS or other tests, you need to have them usually before applying via the application portal as you need to upload the documents during the application process itself. No, the semester will not start before the scholarship results- it’s not possible. Usually you’ll receive an acceptance or the opposite in your email and if you’re accepted, you’ll surely have enough time to apply for a student visa, but once you get it, it’s better you apply for the student visa asap. Usually, the general criteria is that the CGPA accounts for the highest weightage amongst other documents. But there are definitely some programs that specifically mention the grades or like for example you need to be in top ____ % of your class. So, it’s important that you know your programs of interest and check their individual requirements. To the best of my knowledge and own experience, I’d say you don’t pay any form of declaration as such. Largely because you are receiving enough funding for your tuition fees and the living expenses so it really doesn’t make much sense to pay the commitment part. Hope this helps :)

I don't think the selection committee will notice as you apply with the same LOM for different programs but to better tailor it to the specific program, I recommend preparing different LOMs or at least tweaking the first one.

Hello Shreedhar. Yes, they made this change a while back so you are eligible to apply for more than 3 programs if you want to. If they mention so, then it might be that they will not continue. But usually, they come up with similar new programs once the old ones phase out. If the three programmes you are talking about, don’t say anything about the period for which they are operating, then it’s likely they will continue. It’s good to be updated with the website particularly around September as they would update their website before the application opens.

Use both filter search like type finance once and economics second and see the programs for yourself.
