Football Academy I Stars of Africa produce top players: Farouk Khan

A week ago, one of the most successful football academies in the country---Stars of Africa Academy opened its new premises in a state-of-the-art building in Johannesburg where their 60 academy players reside, and some school. This academy has in the past 20 years, produced seven Bafana Bafana players, including May Mahlangu, Tefu Mashamaite, Tokelo Rantie and most recently Tito Maswanganyi.

Belgium is the size of the Kruger National Park. A country that small can produce Elite players because they invested in their development. That's not the case with SA football.

They Forget to also invite or bring the boys staying at Old academy house. Regardless of paying or not Paying monthly school and training Fees. Overall it's very tough for running an academy without a sponsor.
