When I buy antiques I often wonder how they were made and if anyone has the skill these days to recreate them...and if they do, how much would that cost ?
In this video I take an antique coopered jug umbrella stand, around 120 years old to show one of England’s last Master Coopers Alastair Simms and ask him how much it would cost to make a new version and for him to show us what’s involved in the making...in other words...How To Make A Barrel!
