Fun fact: Koraidon and Miraidon's names are puns on the words Korai and Mirai. And for those of you who don't know, Korai is the Japanese word for past and mirai is future.
Actually, "korai" means "ancient" in Japanese (the _specific_ Japanese word for "past" is actually "kako"), but you are indeed right about "mirai" meaning "future". Also, they're not puns; they were intentionally named that way in order to reflect their chronological origin.

Got Koraidon on my third rounds of attempts (was hellbent on getting it in a Luxury Ball). First time I accidentally killed him with Play Rough and reset. The second time he swept through my party after I tried about 20 balls. The third time I changed up my team to actually counter his moves and accidentally burned him with Lava Plume from my Camperupt. I was worried that I was going to lose him to burn so I tossed a Luxury Ball even though he was on yellow health and it was a crit capture lol. He ended up being Adamant nature like a GOAT.
Does anyone know what that Big Bang was after catching the 2nd Koraidon/Miraidon? There's a scene after you catch the 2nd ones it goes gwoosh!! It feels like Area Zero shaked but nothing happened does anyone have any idea what that was about yet?
I honestly just used Clodsire and Kingambit to catch Koraidon. Use Clodsire to lower its accuracy 6 times with Mud-Slap, then switch to Kingambit and use Thunder Wave to paralyze Koraidon. This will ensure to avoid almost all of Koraidon's attacks or stop him with paralysis; not to mention adding a status effect to increase catch rate. Afterwards, use False Swipe to bring its HP to 1. I did all this just so I could catch it with a Premiere ball for the special occasion and it worked after my 9th throw. Note: Make sure to save before engaging with Koraidon, that way if you fail you can just restart the game and be back where you last saved. Make sure your Pokémon are also at a high level with high attack and defense in stats.

I used a ultra balls then finished with a timer ball the more turns that go by means better chances of catching it only took maybe 6 ultra and 1 timer for me I of course took his health way down first
This actually really helped out. I went in with a Slaking with yawn and false swipe, golduck with hypnosis, Persian with false swipe, gallade with false swipe and breloom with spore and false swipe. I had to switch out and put him to sleep everytime he used giga impact. And with luck I got it.
I think maybe they detected each other and considered that the one you battle against in the post Pokémon league story can’t be ridden and aggressive, I take it that they were going to fight had they not been in separate Poke Balls
So if you want to do this SUPER easy. Ceruledge. Fire/Ghost Koraidon has bulk up not a fighting move, giga impact doesn't affect ceruledge, collision course doesn't affect ceruledge and flamethrower doesn't affect ceruledge because of its ability flash fire. So just have ceruledge use sword dance 3x and false swipe it until 1 HP. It's SUPER easy
